He was very up front about what was wrong with my car and the cost to repair it. Unfortunately it was more than I could afford to put into the vehicle so I declined repairs.

Update 10/29/25- We're still coming to Elijah for all our vehicle repairs and have never once been disappointed. Service is great, don't have to wait forever like other places to get the job done, and the guys are very professional and polite. We can't thank you enough!
First time coming to 2nd Mile Repair, and talking with Elijah definitely put us at ease. Had issues with the E-Brake and the 4Wheel drive not working on our truck. They were quick to get us in to diagnose the issue and have the upcoming repair next week. We truly appreciate you guys, you have no idea! When others couldn't get us in for weeks and wanting to charge over $1k just to look at it with a minor repair (that wouldn't have touched this issue), we were so relieved you guys looked at our vehicle and are going to repair it so quickly! ~ As we all know, its nearly impossible live in Michigan on back roads w/ no 4 wheel, so THANK YOU!!!! Had quite a bit of work done.. and it seemed to have gone well. Very thorough inspection report. Everyone was really friendly and easy to talk to. Shop was willing and able to work with a 3rd party extended warranty company, after some other shops I initially called declined. Some other issues with the car were pointed out, and I would highly consider 2nd mile repair.
2nd mile repair is dependable, knowledgeable and reasonably priced, convenient (they usually have a loaner car available) and competent. They have run the computer on my vehicle, and note potential future issues. I would recommend 2nd mile repair to anyone! Thank you
