Absolutely fabulous experience with Whale Watch Tenerife. John is the best guide you could wish for. He's so passionate about cetaceans and their conservation. If you want to learn something and be respectful of the mammals you have chosen the correct tour. Not only did we see many many Short finned pilot whales we were also lucky to catch sight of a few very illusive Atlantic Striped Dolphin. When you've run out of whales and dolphins the views back to Mount Teide are second to none.

Fabulous afternoon with Tenerife Whale Watching. The trip was a on small rib style boat with about 12 people. So no issues of overcrowding or not being able to see. Our pilot / guide John was knowledgeable and informative. We saw two family groups of pilot whales and the size of the boat meant we were really close to them. If you want proper licenced whale watching ( not a huge party boat with food drink and swimming) run by people who know their stuff and care about the environment these are the people to go with. Nb Tenerife has many many illegal “whale watching” excursions due to poor implementation of the regulations.

Incredible! Had the best morning with John, we were very fortunate to find a massive pod of visiting atlantic spotted dolphins as well as see some small groups of pilot whales. Great knowledge of cetaeceans shared and clearly super respectful of the animals, especially when you see the practice of some of the other boats out on the water. I am fortunate that I have had many amazing sealife encounters as have grown up sailing but this was still a "wow" trip for me!

We took a 2-hour trip with John, and it was truly an amazing experience! He genuinely cares about nature and wildlife, always making an effort not to disturb the animals while explaining their behavior in great detail. On top of that, during the trip, John shared countless fascinating insights about different species—it felt like an immersive lecture on marine biology. If I could, I’d give the team a sixth star for going above and beyond. John even asked us to let him know if we spotted any plastic or non-organic waste in the ocean so he could pick it up. P.S. Thank you for catching small crabs for my baby daughter. Wishing you all the best!💪🏻

We had a tour with John and absolutely loved it. The boat is ideal for whale watching and lots of fun when going fast. The groups are fairly small and everybody will have a good view. John is extremely knowledgeable and was very respectful with the pilot whales and spotted dolphins that we saw during the tour. We only went close to them when they decided to have fun with the boat's waves. They even swam underneath the boat when we were floating. You can tell that John is very passionate and caring about the wildlife and provided so much information during the tour. It was a truly amazing experience!

We had the most amazing tour with Ion while we spent our honeymoon on Tenerife, although I got seasick, the trip was magical. Ion really cared for my health and managed to explain the differences between male and female pilot whales while he placed a wet tissue on my neck to prevent the seasickness. He really was the most warm hearted Guide I met thus far. 10/10 recommend!!

Estuvimos en el Tour con el patrón de barco John. Nos aportó muchísima información sobre los cetáceos que se ven en la zona. Atendía muy amablemente todas nuestras dudas. Al no ser grupos grandes, por un lado permite una atención muy personal y por otro, permite ver a los cetáceos con la tranquilidad que para ello se requiere. Además vimos 4 grupos de Cetáceos. Un acierto sin duda hacer este Tour. 100% recomendable!
