Hello Ameer & Abdullah, this is your second review. Thank you for expressing your concerns.
We’d like to clarify what occurred during your visit.
You came to us after opening a claim with State Farm and were referred to our facility as one of their preferred repair shops. When you dropped off your vehicle, not only did we verbally explain the process to you and your son but you signed an authorization allowing us to begin the repair process.
Our team then began work on the vehicle, including disassembling the damaged area, documenting the damage, preparing the repair estimate, ordered necessary parts, and submitting the necessary information to your insurance company.
After this work had already been completed, you decided not to move forward with the repairs and instead wanted to retain the insurance payment. You are certainly within your rights to make that decision; however, it does not eliminate the charges for work that had already been authorized and performed.
The total charges for the work completed were $490.96. We also participated in a three-way call with you and your insurance company, during which these charges were discussed and confirmed as valid charges by the Statefarm representative for the work performed by our repair facility.
We want to be clear that this was not a "$500" charge for simply writing an estimate. It was for ALL of the work that had already been authorized and completed before you chose not to proceed with the repair.
We always strive to be transparent with our customers and appreciate the opportunity to clarify the situation.
