Worth the effort
I dropped out of university looking to find the right career for me, although it took a little longer than I was expecting, they made sure to call up with lots of reassurance to assure me my profile was getting put out there. I started my apprenticeship about 3 weeks ago, and am quite happy with how it’s going. A special mention to Dionne for her persistence in finding me a role that suited me best!
Really good
NowSkills is fantastic and reallu helped me start my apprentiship in IT. They have been really helpful in getting ready and prepared for my interview and starting in my role. Dionne was very helpful every step along the way. Cant thank her enough.

I’ve had an amazing experience with NowSkills throughout my journey to secure a Digital Marketing apprenticeship, and I genuinely couldn’t be happier with the support I received!
From day one, the team has been professional, encouraging, and committed to helping me find the right opportunity! But I have to give a special shoutout to Dionne Hazelwood. Dionne has been absolutely wonderful! She has been incredibly friendly, understanding, and supportive at every stage of the process. Her positive attitude and genuine care made such a difference and truly helped boost my confidence.
Dionne took the time to listen, guide, and reassure me, making the entire experience feel personal and tailored to me. It’s clear she loves what she does, and her passion for helping others shines through.
Thanks to NowSkills (and especially Dionne), I’m now on the path to an exciting career in Digital Marketing, and I’m so grateful for everything they’ve done. I highly recommend NowSkills to anyone looking for an apprenticeship!!!
Recently I applied for an IT apprenticeship with NowSkills.
I noticed that on the application form they ask for personal information that shouldn't be asked for during the early stages of the hiring process (Exact DOB and NI number). I pointed it out to the Recruitment Executive in charge of my application, and expressed my concern that this information could be used for age-based discrimination. I never heard anything from NowSkills again.
Citizens Advice agreed that they shouldn't need this information in the early hiring stages for this type of apprenticeship. Overall, I've found this to be highly unprofessional for an apprentice recruitment agency.
I would truly like to thank the Now Skills team for doing as much as they could to help me find an apprenticeship, but most of all I’d like to thank Dionne Hazelwood who found me one after one day of looking, prepped me for the interview and after it ensured I got it!! It was the first interview I did just 3 days after finishing my application! Not only was she so helpful and the reason I got this opportunity, but she was so lovely, I would highly recommend this company if you’re searching for an apprenticeship.
I don't recommend anyone to sign up to Nowskills, as the employees are not what the reviews say. The reviews are fake, robotic, forced, and bribed by their tutor to give exactly 5 stars way too consistently. And if the 5 stars were true—which is difficult to digest in my perspective—I wouldn't have had the unprofessional behaviour I had experienced, and this consistently gets worse once you sign up.
I've gotten misled, treated rude and unfairly by a person named Kevin Worsley, the Recruitment Executive, who is incompetent and thinks he's above the average person. Being a guy that sits and listens to the bare minimum to the opposite person, he doesn't care to guide people and instead makes them feel worse, because his own life doesn't satisfy him. He then gave me false hope for an apprenticeship I wasn't qualified to have. I wished he'd just bluntly told me I wasn't qualified, rather than wasting my time for 3 days filling out a form, making a video, and then getting called the next day to make improvements to both my form and video.
It felt so unnecessary for an apprenticeship I wasn't qualified to have. Now, when Kevin told me to improve my video, I don't know if he was either dumb or blind, but he classed a plain sweater to be a hoodie as his "main point" of redoing the video again. So I complained and wrote an email of his behaviour and approach towards me, and a person called Daniel Wells acknowledged the issue, gave no apology for Kevin's rudeness and misconduct, and gave no indication that he was actually bothered.
I honestly thought maybe Kevin was horrible, and maybe this person that acknowledges my issue would be more better, supportive, and friendly—as your robotic fake reviews say—but no, they were both useless as each other, as it feels like he just overlooked the issue.
I just simply wanted some acknowledgement of my issue and an apology from Kevin. I don't want or accept an apology from anyone on his behalf. I understand if that's difficult for Kevin to apologise, seeing as he's egotistical and prideful in his position, but that's all I wanted.
I tried solving the issue without having to post a negative review, but this is the only option they left me with. I'm honestly glad I didn't get accepted, because if this is how they handled apprentices, the average person wouldn't stand a chance.
EDIT:
Clearing of what you have responded to me, that I didn't answer your call "after a week of trying to get a hold of you." I rejected your call only once throughout the process at that time because you called me at an inconvenient time. Kevin then told me in a voicemail and email to call back once I was available. I then, immediately after I was available, I called back and you didn't respond. I emailed Kevin on the very day to call me back, and on the very email he had told me that I missed a call, and still no response.
Kevin then reached out to me the next week, talking very fast and gave no reassurance if I am ok, and clearly knowing I was nervous, he never bothered to slow down. It surprises me that they keep staff as inconsiderate like this. The call ended. I then emailed if there was any important information I had missed from the conversation, seen as he was talking so fast, and again no response. So don't try and reverse the blame and fault on to me, that I didn't try, and that you claimed to repeatedly contact me to appear innocent to the public i will try to post pictures on this review but unfortunately sometimes this review itself won't show up for people when i do so but nonetheless I have kept every piece of evidence to proof how false and fake this company is.

Hi Huzaifa,
Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. I've had a look into your application and I can see that our first point of contact with you was on the 22nd of August (via email due to the number we had from your application not working). We then went through a screening call with you on the 4th of September after a week of trying to get a hold of you. The last time we spoke to you over the phone was on the 10th of September which is where our recruitment team, after reviewing your application, explained that due to your grades and experience you'd be more suited for a level 2 apprenticeship which we, sadly, don't offer at the moment.
We recognise that our application process can be tough as competition is very high across our programmes. But, we wish you the very best in your continued search and your future endeavours.

I found the whole process with NowSkills super simple and easy to sign up for! I can’t wait to start my apprenticeship with an amazing company. My advisor Katie has been absolutely incredible – she checked in with me all the time, made sure I was confident every step of the way, and is just so lovely to talk to. I honestly can’t thank her and the whole NowSkills team enough for all their support and encouragement!
