I hate leaving bad reviews for small businesses, but my experience with Woodyard Embroideries was an absolute nightmare, and I feel like other customers deserve to know.
It took an entire month for my order to be completed. During that time, I had to call, leave voicemails, send texts, and emails just to get an update. Anita rarely responded most of the time my messages were not answered, and when she did, the excuse was that she was “out of town." After already having my order for weeks.
I even went out of my way to create a custom font file compatible with her embroidery system. After 29 days, I finally picked up my order, only to get home and find the embroidery was four inches smaller than what I specifically requested. At no point did she communicate this change or explain that she would have to resize the font and charge more. That’s the kind of basic communication and professionalism you expect from any business, especially one that keeps your order for a month.
I respect small business owners and usually want to support them, but this was BEYOND frustrating. If you’re considering embroidery work, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere unless you want to deal with poor communication, long delays, and at the end of it all...disappointing results.
