I highly recommend Woodland Deck. As first-time home buyers, we knew this would be one of our largest home projects, and we entered the process with a clear vision. Woodland Deck not only brought that vision to life, they exceeded it. From the very beginning, everything felt smooth and effortless. After submitting our interest, we received a follow-up in less than three business days. The in-person assessment with the project manager was professional and helpful, and the proposal and contract review gave us confidence in moving forward. Once we committed, working with our assigned project developer was just as seamless. Every step of the process felt organized, clear, and reassuring. They answered all of our questions with patience and care, even the ones that felt like “first-time homeowner” questions. There was never any judgment, only helpful explanations and support. Woodland Deck earned our trust, and the finished product truly feels like a dream come true. We could not be happier with our deck. Let me first say working with Woodland deck co has been one of the best decisions and experience I’ve encountered. I’d give them 5+++ stars. From my initial contact with Jason that was positive and informative, with Nick who was supportive in my delay of the project, with the two Matt’s who completed my raised deck. I must say they were polite , professional, extremely efficient with an excellent work ethic. They communicated with me thru out the project answered any question to my understanding. And Brendan who came out to finesse the project displayed the same qualities in completing the project. I am pleased with my deck.A big Thank you to Jason, Nick, Matt, Matt & Brendan. JOB WELL DONE!

I contacted Woodland Deck about a 42 x 10 ft deck with 2 levels built on a slope. The far end is about 8 ft off the ground and runs along the house to ground level. They very quickly came up with a design for me. Their quote was also under the two other quotes I received. I decided to go with them in the middle of May expecting to wait a good 6 weeks or so before building would start. Fortunately, someone else had a scheduling issue and they called me to see if they could start the Tuesday after Memorial Day. In 5 working days the got the entire deck finished! My wife and I are very happy with the quality and look of the deck. Everyone was very helpful and courteous!

Update: We had a few issues with the deck and it is hard to find a company that actually stands by their work and warranty. Woodland did not disappoint. They easily assessed the problems from text pics and within 10 days had a crew on site and fixed the issues. I cannot say enough good things about this company. It is clear why this company has all five star reviews; our experience was no exception. We initiated contact in Spring 2020, like a lot of people, but, chose to postpone the project due to other home renovations. From day one, the company was courteous, responsive, attentive and not pushy. They provided an estimate, but understood when we chose to postpone. Fast forward 11 months and we contacted them again. Same wonderful experience. We made several revisions to our original plan and they easily made everything work out. The building crew was phenomenal! All master craftsmen and an apprentice. They worked hard every day, were quiet, and again courteous when interacting with us. The final product was beyond our expectations! The icing on the cake, the company owner called us on his personal cell to check in once the project was complete. We honestly could not have asked for more from the company and of our beautiful new deck and balcony.

We contacted Woodland Deck Company to replace our wood deck (flooring, railing and steps) with Trex. They responded quickly with a preliminary estimate. We were satisfied with the price range, so we moved on to the actual measurements and color choices, etc. Micah was very helpful and patient with my many questions and emails. The project was started sooner than we expected, which was great. Stephan and Eric worked efficiently and were attentive to and helpful with my husband's questions and requests. All of this helped make the deck exactly what we wanted. We love it! (Wish we'd found them sooner!)

In early May we had an our deck resurfaced by Woodland Deck Company. This turned out to be the most satisfying & pleasant experience we have ever had with a contractor! For reference, our deck is about 600 square feet & built in 2 sections. The oldest was built 30 years ago at ground level using 2 x 6 framing lumber & the newest is 13 years old using 2 x 8 lumber over sloping ground. Day 1, one two workers, McKennan C. & Noah P. showed up early to begin the process. They were incredibly polite & worked tirelessly to remove the old decking & clean up the site. All debris was loaded into a dumpster that was only on site the first day. Day 2, Matthew F. & Braydan B. showed up to start to start laying new deck boards. I thought that would begin immediately but Matthew informed me they needed to inspect, tighten & reinforce all of the existing framing. They worked about six hours on that, during which time the project manager, Neil Stelkic showed up & lent a hand adding blocking for the railing. After manually carrying all of the heavy TimberTech boards to the backyard, Matthew & Braydan began laying the boards to simulate the final product. Day 3, Matthew, Braydan & Max S. began to permanently attach the deck boards & railings. Because of the differences in framing lumber sizes & age, they were very careful making sure that all boards were level. I am elderly & somewhat disabled & I feel that all 3 went out of their way to ensure everything was perfectly level & safe for my wife & myself! Day 4, Matthew & Eli K. installed the face boards on the deck, washed the deck & policed & cleaned the surrounding area. I was impressed with every single worker involved with this project! Kudos to Matthew, Braydan & Max for their efforts in making this a special & safe place for us & our family. Those 3 are very much perfectionists. I know I repeat myself but at 73 years old, this was absolutely the best experience I have ever had with a contractor! Everything they promised they delivered. If you are considering a deck, I honestly believe that you cannot find a better choice than Woodland Deck Company! (I picked them because of their 5 star reviews & if I could give them 10 stars, I would.)

If you're looking for a company and team you can absolutely trust, I give my highest recommendation to the crew at Woodland. From beginning to end the experience was top shelf and they were extremely easy to work with. Micah did a few home visits with different material selections and then provided the plans to review. Neil organized the crew and suggested a great design change to improve the project. And lastly the foreman Pierson led an impressive team that executed the project in 2.5 days flat! He briefed me each day, they showed up early (even in the pouring rain) and clearly took pride in their work with attention to detail. The final product was excellent and exactly what I was looking for. The folks at Woodland Deck are genuine craftsmen and professionals and I can't recommend them enough.

If you need deck steps, call Woodland Deck Company! They just finished our stairs and they are gorgeous. Solid craftsmanship, great communication, and they delivered a really high-quality end result that turned a simple functional need into a highlight of our backyard. Luke, our PM, was responsive, laid back, and easy to work with. He has a great sense of humor and did a fantastic job keeping communication smooth—even when my wife had a lot of detailed thoughts to share. He handled everything professionally and kept things moving. The project did take longer than a single day, which would have been helpful to know upfront, but the final result absolutely made up for it. Overall, it was a very positive experience and I’d definitely recommend Woodland Deck Company to others looking for quality deck work. Chris
