I only have one complaint about the cabin we stayed in.
In the DVD basket there was only one Star Wars movie. And it was The Phantom Menace. Out of all the great Star Wars movies, my only option was the worst one.
Other than that, this place was fantastic! Quiet, secluded, clean. Me and the wife absolutely loved it!
We will definitely be returning, and staying for a week instead of a couple days. And maybe I'll bring a better Star Wars movie.
The Starlink was out during our stay in July , wish they would have said something before we arrived. However the cabin was clean, had no odor and everything was provided for in it. Comfortable king bed, A/C was great, the jacuzzi was cleaned and refilled when we arrived. We loved that firewood was provided, turtle food and bird feed was provided as well. We had a great time and will definitely return. The pit on the deck overlooking the pond was where we spend most of our time as it was very quiet.

I had an expectation of Woodland Cabins based on their online presentation, pictures and reviews. Our expectations were exceeded on an exponential level. When we arrived, the cabin was absolutely perfect. We enjoyed the turtles, deer, turkey, lake, grilling, hot tub and the absolute seclusion. Thank you Woodland Cabins, I think this is our special place for the rest of our lives...
This place was wonderful! Great place to get away and connect with your spouse. Very secluded and the cabin was very clean.
We stayed at the White Tail cabin this last weekend as a relaxing get away.
We were blown away by the whole experience! The cabin was beautiful and clean, with the hot tub being clean and not cloudy- but also not so over filled with chemicals that you couldn’t stand the smell.
The fire pit was amazing and was so easy to get fires going with the provided fire wood!
We also loved the little snack basket, and the provided turtle food!
The wildlife was so comfortable with us being there - over 30 turtles would come swimming up when you started throwing food,
- a little raccoon came by to check out our campfire,
-and there was a large variety of birds to watch!
Overall this stay was so relaxing, and we didn’t really have to worry about anything!
So close to Carbondale and all of the restaurants, but absolutely no noise pollution.
While you could hear the guests at other cabins, there was no direct line of sight, and it felt very secluded. It was incredibly serene.
We plan to return next year!
(For the hosts, I would recommend adding a small bench to the end of the bed for setting luggage bags on! Just my two cents!)
This was my husband and I’s first trip to Woodland Cabins and it did not disappoint! We stayed at Woodsong. It was clean, updated, and had everything we needed in the kitchen. It even had bird food and turtle food under the kitchen sink. It was in close proximity to town and all the wineries, but secluded enough that it was quiet and we didn’t hear any traffic. It was a beautiful property and we will definitely return!
Location and cabin itself were really very beautiful! But for the price I was a bit disappointed overall. The Wi-Fi was out for the weekend and the hot tub was luke warm. I expected a bit more hospitality, things like shampoo and ice provided, like at any hotel, or at least a fly swatter for all the flys. Overall though it was a very beautiful location.
Woodland Cabins was amazing from start to finish, we couldn't have asked for a more lovely stay! The cabin felt modern and comfortable, the hot tub was amazing, and the property itself was lovely to walk. We saw lots of turkey and deer, fed the turtles at the lake, and enjoyed the firepit. They were responsive to our requests and just generally made everything perfect for a romantic weekend getaway.
We had a great stay. The cabin is lovely with everything you need, the hot tub was clean and very relaxing. Feeding the turtles was a nice surprise.

We realy enjoy the peace and quiet of being out away from the city noise. the turkeys were a new supprise this year and of course the turtles are always fun to feed and watch. As always the cabin was clean and had everthing that we needed to fix all of our meals and snacks. The car was not even started for over three days. The hot tub and the sun shine were great. Got a start on thesummer tan and relaxed in the hot tub then the fire pit at night to close out the day.
