Totally Satisfying Experience There is no doubt this is an expensive project,,however this has been a most rewarding and money well spent endeavor Starting with Joey’s design ,De’Anna and Barbara handholding me thru the process and the actual work crew completion I am totally in awe of the completed project. There is hardly a day that goes by that a passing boat passenger doesn’t comment on our boat dock and lift. There is not a doubt in my opinion that if you utilize this company you will not be totally pleased A great company Thank You for a most pleasurable experience

Wood Dock and Seawall is the GOLD standard. Great owner, great staff, terrific crew and honest. I had another large dock builder come out to bid the rebuilding of my dock, they told my dock was not build in accordance to the building codes I thanked him and ask him to send me his bid. What he didn’t know I’ve been a certified general contractor since 1978 and I had a signed building permit for the dock. There price for building my dock was 3.2 times more than Wood Dock and Seawall.

Wood Dock & Seawall in Bradenton Florida is the best company for dock repairs, new docks, seawalls, & lifts with docks, Family owned business for more then 40 years. Joey is the go to guy for everything you need relating to Docks & Seawalls. His quote was $10k under competing companies. When the hurricanes in 2024 damaged my dock they did emergency repairs to the sagging dock until they could get to replacing pilings and planks at a later date because they were booked solid for a year. I highly recommend this company based on my own experience using their services.

Joey, Brian, Barbara and De’Anna can’t thank you enough 😊 We recently had our failing seawall replaced and the entire experience was excellent from start to finish. Barbara and De’Anna are truly the best — they guided us through every step of the process and made what could have been overwhelming feel easy and stress-free (although I got a little stressed because of financing issues) but Barbara insured my that everything would work out. They helped us get financing through the Florida PACE Program, coordinated the engineering drawings, handled permits, filed the Notice to Commence, and stayed on top of everything all the way through the final inspection. Their communication was clear, timely, and professional, and they were always available to answer. The final result looks great. We couldn’t be happier with our new vinyl seawall and highly recommend this company, especially Barbara and De’Anna, for their outstanding support and expertise.

I usually don’t waste my time with reviews. Yet I feel so compelled to share my experience using Wood Dock and Seawall to build and install my new dock and lift. WOW! They so exceeded my expectations! My job required many moving parts that had to be efficiently coordinated. And, boat access to enter my dock was going to be tricky, so I needed the utmost precision with how my dock was positioned and architecturally laid out, especially since the city mandated and defined the amount of space that would be allowed for the actual dock installation . Oh! Did I mention mangroves, which provided another need for coordination with the state and environmentalists to obtain permits before my job could even be started. Well! The team at Wood Dock and Seawall expertly handled the coordination of all the moving parts. ALL! The finished dock is beautiful. Actually, ITS PERFECT!!!!! Their installers were such craftsmen in how they precisely placed the pilings and laid out the decking. The lift works perfectly. The electrical looks great. I am so very pleased with the great job Wood Dock and Seawall did for me! Thanks team!!!! Now it’s time to go boating!

The folks at Wood Dock and Seawall did a great job. Diana and Joey are a great team. I’ve used them on two more projects in the last year and they did excellent work on both. I will 100% use them again for any dock or boat lift work.

Over the last 13 years, I have had to repair my boat lift as well as keep it maintained. Each time, WD&S folks did a great job and so I have used them for all my dock and lift issues. In fact, when I had electrical issue with the lift, I called them first for advice. They quickly referred me to a marine electrician who does great work as well. Not only are they professionals, but are great folks to work with.

Joey and team are absolutely amazing. Our dock was destroyed by the hurricane’s. It’s been rebuilt and is as good as new. From the ladies in the office to the guy’s rebuilding the dock, the process was smooth. I highly recommend. Gayle Papastavrou

they specked and built a floating dock for me in Paradise Bay Estates in January of 2021. When the dock was being built, the floats they specked were too small and the dock had trouble floating. When I called, they sent a supervisor to inspect the work. He said the floats were too small and replaced them with the correct ones. when the dock was completed, it was floating fine with the correct floats, however when presented with the final bill, they added $1,000.00 for additional labor to change the floats that they originally installed. I said it was their original float order and refused to pay the additional charge. they removed the additional charge per Brian and I paid the bill. Now the dock was damaged by hurricane Helene and they refused to do the repair, saying I refused to pay my bill, which I paid in full on 2/19 2021. I feel this is unfair business practice, Bruce Talsma

Great experience. I just had my second dock and boatlift built by them. They were on time, professional and competitively priced. Joey, Barbara and Dawn were all very pleasant to work with. No complaints. I highly recommend. So updating this review following Milton: I'm sorry I don't see an option for 6 or more stars. The quality of this build is incredible. It held up great to an extreme pounding. I have seen many docks in the community in pieces, including the one directly across the canal. Mine is a rock. Two pics say it all: my dock and lifts are fully functional, across the canal in tatters. Thanks for a great product.

Worked with Joey and his team for months on the design as I had some unique requirements that I wanted to meet. The entire team did a great job working with me to meet them all. Throughout the entire process everytime I raised a concern, the team was all over it. As an example, unfortunately, my pool cage suffered minor damange when driving pilings for the deck I added. I called the office to let them know and the immediate answer was " We'll take care of it." I cannot recomment Wood Dock and Seawall enough. From start to finish it was a wonderful experience.

We recently hired Wood Dock and Seawall to tear out an old dock, and replace with a much larger dock and boat lift. Joey came out came out and explained the entire process better than any of the other companies. He provided a very competitive bid and expectations. De'Anna and Barbara, in the office, helped us select some of the finishes and kept us informed throughout the process. The construction team did a great job. The dock and lift turned out great.

I'm gonna rave about these guys, from the initial consultation, to going outside the wire to look at various options and potential projects, "Joey and crew came threw!" We bought a slip on AMI and needed a dock and lift set up to accommodate our SeaRay and it came out fabulous. Not only does it all look (and moreover work great) but the price is extremely fair! Highly recommend these guys for your next Dock/lift project!

I hold Joe & Leo in such high regards after watching them oversee a fabulous team of employees while constructing my new sea wall. Great customer service! They were able to find a part for an older model boat lift, and were extremely communicative during the entire process. Dawn was friendly and helpful, and accommodating with my schedule. Highly recommended, although I haven’t used them for a dock or seawall installation.

Similar to other reviews I've seen online, getting communication from these guys is a challenge at best. The office lady was very nice and helpful, but unfortunately she isn't running the business. Waited almost 3 weeks to just get a quote, only to be told "eh, the estimator decided not to quote the job". My guess is because they didn't like being held accountable to the things they told me. Nothing special about my job, straightforward seawall replacement/install. Of course excuses were given that you would expect about "taking time to ensure the project is quoted properly, that's why we take so long, etc, etc", but it boils down to not being organized and/or experienced enough to run the business efficiently and effectively. Oh well, onward and upward, but wanted to share my personal experience.
