Stayed for a couple of nights and loved this place. The tents are comfortable and very well equipped and the location is great. Lovely and secluded and peaceful. It's a nice walk cross country to Pebmarsh for a pub lunch. The only small thing that could possibly be improved is the outside pizza oven/BBQ is not the easiest for actually barbecuing for 6 people but we would 100% return and plan to!

Had a lovely time as it was first experience of glamping , Safari tent was well equipped. Lovely furniture, comfortable beds. We were very lucky with weather. Countryside was a lovely walk to Kings head pub with delicious food. Lots of activities to play ball games on spacious field.

Yes Comments about this property We stayed and hired the 3 available safari tents. This was for a family stay including children of all ages. This was the most perfect get away, no phones just laughter peace and family games. I would highly recommend to stay here. We are already planning our return visit. The shed filled with games was the perfect touch and not to mention how comfortable and clean the bed were. Steve and Clare run the most beautiful farm and could not be better hosts! Thank you very much! Tips for other travellers Lovely walks to the fishing lake and pub.

Iv visted this place 3 times with my partner and we absolutely fell in love with it. On the third we bought the family and they all want to go back . The toy shed was used all day long with archery being a favourite amongst the kids. I have a child with autism who elopes but I had no worries here, it's fence off all around with a gate where you enter. It was such a joy to see my child have the freedom of the open space . At night time we bought glow sticks and light sabers .We truly love this place and will be returning. what an amazing experience we all had. The safari tents were very spacious and very clean. The shower had great water pressure and was always hot. The beds were super comfortable. The added benefit of a bbq was perfect as we had 2 days of full sun. The boys loved playing football on the field and fishing in the lake. We managed to catch some star gazing.Our hosts were very helpful and made us feel at home. Would we return? Most definitely.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay! Our whole family enjoyed it (kids 2 and 5). The facilities were amazing - giving us adventure with home comforts. Very safe, so us adults could relax and we all enjoyed being ‘unplugged’. The hosts are wonderful.Surpassed our expectations and we’d love to return. Thank you for a brilliant weekend.

This place is perfect and I mean perfect For a couple getaway to a family weekend away They have thought of everything and it's safe to say ill be booking again we were lucky with the weather and the fact we had the whole site to.our self's It's spaced out perfectly and the price is good aswell It's very cosy and they have thought of everything it's glamping at it's best Both steve Clare were fantastic Were on call if we needed them This is such a gem You won't be disappointed

Clare is just wonderful! Woodchests camping has been a core memory for our family, it’s our first experience of glamping. We came home today and we are feeling so blue to be away from the campsite. We had such an amazing time, everything you could think of was catered for! Lots of things to do for children, long walks to a gorgeous pub. We can’t wait to come back ❤️

Fantastic find for a relaxing few days.. Plenty of games/activities available on site and a short walk to the lake for a spot of fishing.. The tents are well equipped and very clear, along with hot showers. Definitely recommended and will be going back.

Booked for a 40th Birthday celebration with family and friends. Great rural, scenic and tranquil location. Set in beautiful countryside with wild walks and the great outdoors awaits you. Had a nice walk down to the lake and enjoyed playing games on the field to the front of the tents. Met promptly at the gate by the very welcoming, professional and helpful Reece who showed us the tents, ran through all the amenities and showed us how to work everything for our stay. Had an amazing get together with family and friends to celebrate my bro in law’s birthday - enjoyed a BBQ, music and drinks. It’s great that everyone can enjoy the outdoors, children are safe and can play on the field and you have all the luxuries that glamping provides. Thank you Woodchests for making happy memories.
