Excellent splitter. Worth the wait.
I ordered a 28c in January, and waited until early May for it to arrive. The first thing I noticed was the build quality. This splitter is very well built. I wasn't able to run it until today. This thing runs through wood so fast, I'm gonna have to rethink my little woodyard process. 1 hr cutting rounds, 30 minutes to stack the split wood, and no more than 10 minutes to split it. I just want to say thanks to all the people at Wolfe Ridge MFG.

I ordered my machine and got an expected ship date for 03/30/2026 I had not received or heard from Wolfe Ridge so I called and was told it would be completed be the end of that week and be shipped by the week of the 6th of April. I had still not received a email or any confirmation so I called and was informed that it would not be shipped until May. Wolf Ridge updated their lead times up to 18 weeks as of the end of March, but I am now waiting 20 plus weeks from the time I ordered mine in January.
All 5 star from me. Equipment is what it is, its solid reliable Equipment. Only so many ways to make a splitter. The people behind it are even better and are what makes Wolfe Ridge a step above nost in this industry. I own a Wolfe pack and a japa disc cleaner. I am happy with both. The quality of the Wolfe pack is top notch. Thanks Wolfe Ridge team.
Bob Nelson gives great customer service and product support. He goes above and beyond what is expected and is always available to help no matter what time of day. He sells quality products but the customer service doesn't end after the sale. He still treats you like a new customer years down the road. He is very knowledgeable and answers any questions you may have.

Picked up my 28Ho 2 days ago. Ran it through some 26 inch diameter red and white oak today. Simply amazing!
I did 60 cords last year and 45 cords the year before with a 22 ton county line. I’ve used that machine like a commercial unit for the last ten years it has 250 cords through it and it’s still kicking, but it is to slow. The 28ho changed that I can’t keep up with the machine.
The craftsmanship and attention to details is bar none. Glad I got the oil cooler, it kicked on in 37 degree weather to my surprise.
I reached out to Wolfe Ridge with a question about the hydraulic oil level being possibly low. To my surprise. Bob Nelson emailed me right back on his day off. I was beginning to think customer service was a thing of the past, but Bob taking the time to reach out on Sunday was quite nice.

I purchased three Rammy 155 Pro snowblowers from Wolfe Ridge Manufacturing, and since they’ve taken over as the distributor for Rammy, not only have I been able to get the actual snowblowers dropshipped to my location, but the aftermarket support is absolutely phenomenal, period. Plus the custom bracket that they made to fit on the Polaris Ranger is absolutely perfect. Every time I deal with anybody on staff there, I just feel like they’re such a great company, and their YouTube videos are also helpful.
Honestly one of the best splitter manufacturers out there. We have a 35HDI — the thing’s a beast. Hearing the story of how Chris started and how he treats his employees is awesome. I had the chance to talk to a few of the guys at the Paul Bunyan show, and his hard work and humility are clearly recognized by his crew. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy anything from them — not just for the quality, but for the way he started and how he treats his people.

The boys at wolfe ridge really know how to make a quality machine. I recently baught the 17vs log splitter and i couldnt be happier. do your own research but side by side comparison of the competitions machine dosent comp;are -- the wedge is designed better with a greaseless self lubing slide = larger table - just absolute quality. I was able to order accesories with no problem Great company and absolutely quality machine - thank you!!

My new 35 ton Super hydraulic log splitter is awesome! I have put about 20 hours onto my machine so far. There is nothing this beast cannot split!
Chris, the owner is extremely responsive and is quick to assist with any questions that may come up. I also purchased the 12-way wedge, which works great on fairly straight grained wood. The 6-way wedge is my go to for just about everything. Get the extension table at the end, that makes working much easier when you’re flying through many cords of wood.
The only challenge you will have is getting enough people to keep wood rounds coming your way fast enough! It is difficult for one person to keep up with how fast this beast can split!

Great company to work with! Product is top notch. I bought a 35 SHO. None of the videos online really do it justice. This thing is an animal and very well built. It’s unbelievable how much time I saved compared to my old splitter.
