I retained With Papers about 8 months ago after doing quite a lot of research on getting my Italian Citizenship for myself and my family. I was really happy with my decision to move forward. They really make the process smooth and hold your hand through the interesting parts. I learned so much about my family through the documents you need to acquire for the Italian consulate. I have recommended With Papers to so many people since and they all very happy with their decisions also. Getting your Italian Citizenship is a chance to reconnect with your history and preserve it for your own legacy be it your kids etc. I highly recommend calling them if you are just interested in the process or even if you qualify. I am a retired American senior business executive, in luxury furniture. I obtained dual Italian citizenship in 2018 and moved with my wife to Rome in early 2022. As an Italian citizen with an EU passport, I can stay in Italy indefinitely. I needed to get my wife a long-stay visa to allow her to stay in Italy for more than the 90 days allowed under a standard tourist visa. The red tape to obtain a long-stay visa was overwhelming. Fortunately, I was introduced to Deanna Richardson, With Papers, who knew exactly what to do. She assisted me in confirming a 4+4 rental agreement for our apartment and obtaining a Certificato di Residenza to demonstrate my residency in the Commune di Roma. As part of that she unwound mistakes that had been made in my codice fiscale. She subsequently shepherded my wife through the process of obtaining a residence permit through marriage (ricongiungiamento familiare) and in making an application for obtaining a long-stay visa. She pre-arranged an appointment with the right people at the Questura di Roma and monitored the follow-up process for us. My wife now holds a permesso di soggiorno which allows her to remain in Italy for the next 5 years. Thank you, Deanna.
