We spent five nights in the stunning Villa Bajo, directly over the water. Bahia Tomini is an absolute hidden gem, right in the middle of paradise! From our terrace, we could watch baby reef sharks every day. The food was absolutely incredible! We also really enjoyed snorkeling on the surrounding reefs.
We are very grateful for this spontaneous lucky find, as Bahia Tomini is (rightfully) usually fully booked. Many thanks again to Eva, Kike, and the entire Bahia Tomini family.

What an absolute paradise! Everything is perfect. Bungalow was very nicely decorated, owners and the staff are super friendly and welcoming. Every day they can take you to different snorkel places or you can go diving (and it's also the best place to relax and just do nothing!) The food was by far the best I had in Sulawesi! Don't hesitate going to this place, it has it all!!!

La verdad es que fue un placer descubrir un pedazo de paraiso tan acogedor. Eva y Kike, acompañados por su staff, hacen una pareja inolvidable, con su autenticidad y sencillez hacen que todo sea muy facil y agardable.
Coincidimos con 3 otras parejas que todas repetian estancia desde hace muchos años, y entendimos el por que.
Esta gente cultivan familia!!
Ademas, ponen especial atencion a la comida, ofreciendo variedad y calidad de opciones vegetarianas y veganas.
El espacio y el entorno hablan por si solos.

We spent five unforgettable days at Bahía Domini Eco Resort, and the experience was truly unmatched.
From the very beginning, what stands out is the concept of the Eco Resort itself. Bahía Domini is fully integrated into nature, with a clear priority on respecting and protecting the natural environment—both the island and the surrounding coral reefs. The resort is also deeply connected to the local community, with most of the staff coming from the island, which creates an authentic and meaningful experience.
The Eco Resort is run by Kike and Eva, two exceptional hosts who bring warmth, joy, and passion to everything they do. Kike has an incredible ability to energize the place. He is a natural host who creates moments of happiness, especially during dinner time. That joy often starts in the kitchen—you might suddenly realize that the staff is singing and dancing while cooking—and then it spreads into the dining area, effortlessly involving all the guests and turning dinner into a shared celebration.
Eva, on the other hand, is an outstanding guide for diving and snorkeling activities. We affectionately nicknamed her “the gardener of the reef”, thanks to her deep knowledge, care, and respect for marine life. Exploring the underwater world with her guidance was both educational and inspiring.
The food deserves special mention. Dining at Bahía Domini was a fantastic experience throughout our stay. The team perfectly balances their culinary expertise with an understanding of the expectations and needs of Western travelers, while beautifully integrating local ingredients and flavors. Over the five days, no lunch or dinner was ever repeated, and each meal seemed better than the last. They are also highly attentive to dietary needs—my partner and I are vegan, and every single meal was thoughtfully adapted to vegan criteria without ever feeling limited or repetitive.
The bungalows are spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated, featuring a rich mix of handcrafted pieces from different regions of Indonesia. The views are absolutely stunning, and one of the most refreshing aspects of the stay is the lack of internet connection. If you choose, you can connect by hiking up the mountain for a couple of hours a day—but it is always a conscious choice, allowing you to truly disconnect and be present.
Bahía Domini Eco Resort is a place where nature, community, care, and joy come together seamlessly. It is not just a place to stay, but an experience that stays with you long after you leave.

A little piece of paradise! This was easily our best acommodation during our 4 week Sulawesi trip and maybe the best during all our travels :) We had a cabin directly over the sea and could observe baby sharks and rays from our terrace. The resort itself is beautifully located in a little bay with corals for snorkeling directly from the beach. Everything is made with love starting from the amazing decorations and art everywhere, the unbelievably good food, the amazing trips to reefs and guides. What makes this place special are the loving owners and the whole team who create more of a family vibe than that of a resort. We celebrated a birthday here and the team really made it special including a cake and songs! Kike and Eva built something truly unique here and you will feel it everywhere. We feel lucky to have had the oppurtunity to stay here for 4 nights and would have loved to stay longer. Once again thank you Eva&Kike&team!

Nous venons de passer 5 nuits à Bahia Tomini. L'endroit est magnifique et intimiste avec ses 4 bungalows perdus entre la mer et la jungle. Les propriétaires, Kike et Eva, sont d'une extrême gentillesse et toute leur équipe qui travaille là bas également. Nous avons été reçu comme si nous faisions partie de leur famille. L'ambiance avec les autres hôtes était également incroyable et la bonne humeur était au rendez-vous. Quant-à la nourriture, juste extraordinaire ! Nous avions tous les jours de nouvelles surprises culinaires plus extraordinaires les unes que les autres.
Nous avons découvert de magnifiques reefs de snorkeling et de plongée ainsi que 2 villages Bajo.
Le seul problème, ce sont les adieux car quitter cet endroit est un déchirement. Merci encore, vous êtes gravés dans nos coeurs ❤️

Eva and Kike are great hosts, helpful, very friendly, took care of us every day and their whole team cooked for us! The food was varied and we loved it. ❤️
The bungalows are very cozy and have a beautiful view of the sea. How I miss lying in a hammock and reading while watching the incredible sunset! ☀️
They also recommended and arranged some lovely excursions around the area and especially snorkelling, it is truly paradise on earth.! Those beautiful coral reefs are still vividly in front of my eyes!
Definitely not our last visit, we can't wait! 🥰

Einfach wunderbar! Bahia Tomini war das Highlight unserer Reise ! Eva und Kike
Haben sich so liebevoll um uns gekümmert und das ganze Team hat einfach wunderbar gekocht ! Die Bungalows sind wunderschön mit liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Von unserem Bungalow konnten wir jeden Tag Babyhaie und Rochen beobachten, wir haben es geliebt.
Wir vermissen diesen tollen Ort jetzt schon und werden auf jeden Fall zurückkommen! Vielen Dank nochmal Kike , Eva und das ganze liebe Team

Nous avons passé 5 nuits fantastiques à Bahia Tomini. C'est un endroit magnifique, perdu au paradis, le reef juste en face des bungalows n'a rien à envier à beaucoup de spots accessibles en batrau. Mais Bahia c'est surtout une équipe adorable, gentille et très attachante, les au revoir sont difficiles ! Eva et Kike sont vraiment des personnes qui resteront marquées dans nos mémoires (et nos coeurs !). Mais je pourrai également citer tout le staff toujours souriant que nous avons adoré. La nourriture est également un point phare de Bahia, c'est exceptionnel et ça change des Nasi Goreng !!
Bref exceptionnel
