I love all the people there very Professional, courteous and most of all Dr Kelly and Dr Whitehead best dentist in town! I am a new patient at the Winter Park Dentistry practice. I have been pretty impressed so far with the professionalism of the office staff. I was particularly pleased with the dental procedure performed by Dr Melissa Whitehead. Based on my experience, I will have my family attend this dental office. I am now a regular patient at the Winter Park Dentistry. I am still very pleased with their outstanding services and I highly recommend them for new potential patients

Winter Park Dentistry is fantastic. Having only ever experienced painful dental experiences in my life, this was more than a welcome change. My dental hygenist, Quin, was great and really did a thorough explanation of everything. The office is very clean and welcoming, and every staff member I interacted with were great as well. Highly recommend, especially if you're nervous about dentists.

Love the atmosphere here, from the reception desk, to the techs to the doctor and check out. Friendly and fast. You are in and out usually within an hour depending on the procedure you are having done.

UPDATE: WP Dentistry: Thank you for your response. Please note, the care I received was exceptional, it was afterwards that was the reason for my review. I had an appointment with Winter Park Dentistry on November 26. During that visit, they completed full-mouth scans but could not perform a cleaning because I require periodontal treatment. I was referred to a periodontist, and I went directly to the front desk afterward. The receptionist attempted to call the periodontist to schedule the appointment, but their office didn’t answer, so I said I would make the appointment myself when I got home—which I did. On December 2, I received a certified letter from Winter Park Dentistry dismissing me as a patient due to what they described as “communication issues.” To be very clear, there were absolutely no communication issues. I showed up for my appointment, followed the dentist’s recommendations, and immediately scheduled an appointment to see the periodontist they referred me to. I even received an email from the dentist office asking for a review of my visit. When I called their office for clarification regarding the certified letter, I was told they were “legally required” to send me this dismissal because I needed periodontal work. I have never heard of anything like this. The letter felt rude, dismissive, and completely unfounded. Frankly, it was upsetting. I believe a dental office could and should treat patients with more professionalism and courtesy rather than blindsiding them with a certified dismissal letter without any real explanation.

Said I needed crown, office said insurance approved. First crown did not fit so put temporary back in and said replacement would be a few weeks. Did not hear back, called the office and was told received but could not find and would call me. Did not hear back. Called again and they said found, went in an crown put in. Several months later got notice insurance denied, even though staff said was approved. When asked why would not answer except insurance always denies. Talked to my insurance dental review team and they said the tooth was cracked from xrays but only needed to be filled, not a crown. Office manager staff said the dentist thought needed crown so I had to pay about $1,200. Asked to speak to the dentist, said was to busy, requested a call and never received. I put this same information in a letter and took to the office an gave staff to give to the dentist and asked again for a call. Never called or responded. The next cleaning the dentist never came in to check, whick they did pr prior clea ing, first time in years with several dentists one did not come in, but hygienist tried to sell products. Asked why she did not come in and was told again dentist was busy. Would NOT recomend since based on my research with the dental review team at my insurance company and the lack of response from the dental office, I have a crown I did not need and paid a lot of money. It is wrong to tell a patient insurance approved a service and do the work and months later get a denial. Would assume never provided information for the claim yo be reviewed. Just did the crown. Also, no contact from the dental office which makes me think they know the crown was not needed.
