This was an amazing experience! Joan was the best guide! He has such great knowledge of the region, wines and community. The wineries we visited are family owned and the experience was so authentic and one of the best wine tours I’ve been on!
The guide went above and beyond providing excellent service and lots of information. Not just about the Penedes region we visited but also along the route there and back.
The Sangenis I Vaque winery was my favorite. This family run winery is producing outstanding wines!

Our Priorat wine tour with Wino Tours was an excellent experience from beginning to end. Ivan, our guide, was engaging, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the Priorat region. He brought the history, geography, and wine culture of the area to life while making the day relaxed, informative, and fun. His enthusiasm and personal approach made a wonderful day even more memorable.
Our first stop, Sangenís i Vaqué, was a real highlight. Maria was extremely knowledgeable and gave us fascinating insight into the winery, its wines, and the family’s history and traditions. We then enjoyed a very good lunch at Clos Figueras, which was a wonderful opportunity to experience the local food and wine in such a beautiful setting.
We finished the day at Celler Devinssi, where Jordi gave us an excellent introduction to the wines and the character of Priorat. He was knowledgeable, engaging, humorous, and great fun, making the final tasting a perfect way to end the tour. The combination of three very different wineries, excellent wines, great food, and especially the wonderful people we met along the way made this an outstanding experience. I would highly recommend Wino Tours to anyone wanting to discover Priorat.
We had a wonderful small group and each winery was so welcoming. The lunch was fantastic and all the wines so tasty. The information on the wine making and history of the local area was presented with much enthusiasm. Would highly recommend this event

Top notch Priorat experience
Our tour to Priorat with Ariadna was absolutely perfect in every way. She is a great driver which is relaxing from the start. She is educated in wine and we were able to spend the drive to Priorat in comfort while chatting about wine, the history of the region and geography. We loved the wineries that Kevin selected for our tour. Sagenis Vaque was a delight as we enjoyed local cheeses and hazelnuts while tasting wine at the top of the vineyard. We had a huge lunch at Clos Figueras, closing the day at Scala Dei with a relaxed and educational tasting. We were able to purchase wine both to carry out and ship back to the US. Scheduling the tour was easy over email. Honestly top notch in every way.

The team at Wino tours were very accommodating despite a late change of plans on my end. We checked out 3 very interesting wineries and met the owner at each of them. I feel that arriving to the wineries with someone who knows the owners creates a level of rapport immediately and enriches the experience. Our tour guide Joan was very knowledgeable and we chatted about the wines of Priorat and Spain more broadly as we drove between wineries. He was also very hospitable and gave us lots of personal recommendations for the rest of our trip. Would recommend to anyone wanting to spend a day tasting wine in Priorat.

Cannot recommend Wino Tours highly enough. We actually used them for 2 separate tours and both were lovely. We did the Penedes Cava tour first with Joan and provided an excellent blend of his local knowledge from growing up in the Penedes region with his education in wine making to lead many of the tours of the vineyards and caves. We love all of the vineyard we visited in Penedes, especially ArtCava which had a homey, family-friendly feel! A few days later, we did the Priorat tour with Ivan, who was also an excellent guide and managed to run a seamless bilingual tour in English and Spanish! We especially loved how rustic the Priorat tour was, as we had the chance to go into some of the vineyards, as well as the most delicious lunch. We felt the tour was good for all levels/experience with wine. It was definitely approachable for folks who have little knowledge of wine/winemaking, but we also felt like we had the space to ask questions and build a deeper understanding as people who consider ourselves more “intermediate winos.” Logistics-wise, communication, pickup/drop-off, and the itinerary were very smooth. We would happily go on another tour with Wino Tours and will be recommending them to anyone who visits Catalonia!

We had a great time with Joam and a small group of six others made this amazing. People will be impressed with his incredible knowledge of not only cava and its roots and production, but also his knowledge of the current events around the world that drew everyone close together quickly. We enjoyed his quick wit, receptiveness to questions and all around his personality. We would follow him on another tour easily.
Excellent tour! Our guide Joan was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot about the area. All three wineries we visited (Llopart, Albet i Noya, Cava Guelira) were wonderful. I would highly recommend doing a wine tour through this company.
