My wife & I recently experienced an upsetting oil tank leak in our basement. After a few choice words, we Googled emergency oil tank service & chose Windmill. They were prompt, professional & helpfull & answered all our questions. We went with their recommendation & purchased an upgraded oil tank model. Hopefully you don't experience a big leak like we did but if you do, I highly recommend Windmill.

So I’d like to share my interaction with this company (windmill) I hired them to take an oil tank out because I switched over to gas. The oil tank was in a crawlspace downstairs. The access door was literally 2 1/2‘ x 2 1/2‘. They came over and gave me an estimate and the estimate was to the letter. I made the appointment and they showed on time and ready to work. Three trucks showed up with six men, they looked at the access panel and none of these guys or shorter than 6 foot three. They went right to work first pumping it out then cutting it out into little pieces a little at a time. They didn’t get one drop of oil on the floor or any of my rug. They were excellent I would highly recommend this company to anybody that needed any of the work they perform. The guys were respectful, clean and courteous. I used Windmill July 2022 to remove and replace my 250 gallon outside oil tank. I was unable to be home when work was being done. When I returned home I could not believe the outstanding work these guys did. There was not trace of any fuel oil smell or stains from the transfer. ( inside the the house by the burner or the outside work site) All the hook-ups looked very professional and this was done while it was 90 degrees. I recommend them to anybody.

They were hours late to start. They broke my basement storm door and yanked a power strip from the wall. They also disconnected my CCTV security cams and never bothered to power it back up. I was never informed by the sales guy that I might need a stronger oil pump because the oil now feeds from the top rather than the bottom. Stay away from them....
