As an update to the below review, Williams Crawford did reach out to me following the below review. They took the time to properly understand my concerns, and provided some context to what I had experienced. I have left my review text below as it represents what I experienced, however it seems this was the culmination of a number of factors, and not the service Williams Crawford intend to provide. They demonstrated good integrity as a business to have an honest conversation, seek a resolution for me personally and take the feedback on board to improve their service going forward. While the service I experienced was not what I would have expected, the response to the poor review was sincere and professional, which I respect.
Original review:
Lovely showroom, with some very nice cars and welcoming staff who encourage the general enthusiasm for the cars. I suspect buying a car from here is a lovely experience.
However, for servicing (for which WC sent a link requesting i do this review), I found them to be very expensive and slow. It felt like my car was low on the priority list to get on the ramp, despite being booked in several weeks in advance for four figure work. Prices in the region of 30% more than other Porsche specialists in the region. In my case the work took 8 weeks, including two weeks to diagnose a failed AOS (which i had told them was the issue).
I like the place, but based on my experience I will not be returning for service work as the cost is too high and I didn't feel like my car was a priority. I do use my car, so being without for that long was not convenient, and not what I'd expect when paying premium prices.
I wouldn't normally leave a public review, but I was sent a link asking for my thoughts without being asked directly, so I presume this is how WC want their feedback.

Customer service second to none - Beth and the team could not have been more helpful and courteous making the whole experience of purchasing a car the most pleasurable we have had. This time a Toyota GR Yaris, next time a Porsche…!?! Many thanks to everyone.

I have just bought my second Porsche from Williams Crawford. I do not often leave reviews but in this case the level of service is so exceptional I wanted to share. Beth in sales has made the process so easy with lots of support and no pressure. I also know from experience with my previous car that the warranty really means something and the minor problems I had were fixed with no drama or quibbles. The whole team just make me feel confident that I have bought a great car. If you want a used Porsche this is the place to go.

I chose Williams Crawford on the basis of recommendation and how they treated my first tentative enquiry. Then I waited until the right car came along and the entire experience from reservation, inspection, preparation and handover has been exemplary, even with minor follow up questions. Wholeheartedly recommended. Oh and the car is great!
Update May 2026: a couple of bits of work were done under the warranty, no problem at all. Mark fitted a battery conditioner, which has proved excellent and today an MOT first on the ramp away in good time and no problems - but I am sure they would have dealt with them if needed. A couple of bits of work lined up for the future. I'd said I'd chosen Williams Crawford before I chose the car and I was right. This is an excellent business with very friendly (but busy!) people and the whole experience is a delight. It's impossible not to recommend them!

I bought my beautiful Boxster 981S from Williams Crawford last August. They found the car for me. It is fantastic and is beyond what I expected.
The service from Williams Crawford was outstanding from start to finish. Great, personal communications. All the staff were knowledgeable and went out of their way to be accessible and helpful. What really shines through is their passion for all things Porsche. A brilliant experience and a fabulous business. I can’t praise them enough.

Simply outstanding customer service from Beth. Polite, friendly, helpful, accommodating and super engaged, with no hard sell or pressure of any sort. The car itself was in even better condition than a described and has clearly received first-class attention from the mechanics over the many years it’s been handled by Williams Crawford.
