A wonderful wilderness island adventure for our family. Erringtons was kind enough to donate a 3 night stay to a local aviation museum for them to fundraise. Our ticket was the lucky winner! Their generosity combined with hawk airs allowed our family to take an amazing vacation that otherwise was still on the wish list. We stayed in the suites on the housekeeping plan and it was absolutely perfect. The suite unit(s) offer a large bedroom, room for a king size bed + cot. They also include a large private bathroom and living space with lakefront views. The food tasted incredible, was beautifully presented and our server Leya was absolutley wonderful! The service from every single person at the lodge was very genuine and kind. Fishing was a little slow but we were able to take some home frozen, as well as enjoy some delicious shore lunches on another secluded island!

We had a wonderful time there. My rating is not exaggerated. I can assure you that the the service is excellent. All people were so friendly. The food was delicious, we didn't expect that in remote place like that. And we had interesting, meaningful talks with the host. We might make it back sometime in the future. Switzerland is quite far away...

Used to go up there every two years with my extended family. Staff is polite and welcoming, and has some great tips for spotting wildlife and finding the best walleye spots 🎣

Really enjoyed our stay, Al, Doris and staff are fantastic. Fishing is great with a variety of Walleye, Pike and perch. Cabins are roomy and comfortable. Will be back for sure.

If you just need to get away from it all, pack your rod, reel, and sunblock. Your vacation will be serene out on the lake, catching fish, watching eagles, loons, bears, moose (if you are lucky), and beavers. Let Al and Doris take care of as much of the rest as you choose.

Went in July 2022. The cabin was clean. The hired staff were friendly. However this is NOT a wildlife photography destination. The website is misleading and outdated as are the owners. Not returning.

Excellent adventure! The staff goes out of their way to make you at home and make sure you have a great experience! My wife, 2 kids (age 8 & 11), and I had a great time fishing, swimming, nature seeing and relaxing! The food is outstanding and the shore lunch option is a must have for at least once per stay! The minnow races were also an added bonus this time! Top notch wilderness resort and we give it our highest recommendations!

What an incredible Northern Ontario jewel! From the wonderful meals, including an absolutely delicious shore lunch of pike and walleye that we caught each day, to the attentive staff and the authentic log cabins that offer up an optimal combination of atmosphere and comfort, it was a completely awesome vacation!!
