White Rose Modern Funerals were recommended to us by a friend.
The service they provided was excellent. This was on many levels. The first meeting soon after my dad's death was managed in a kind, containing and professional manner. At times like this one needs to be looked after. They did this brillaintly and were at the same time respectful and gave us time and space to make the decisions we needed to make. It all felt very personal. I sensed the care about us and had high standards of work.
They were organised throughout the process and their communication was excellent, always contacting us at the right time and responding immediately when we contacted them.
Their excellent work, kindness and professionalism was evident on the day of the funeral. Everything went perfectly and there moments of real kindness during the day.
I'm glad to say I haven't used other funeral services and I don't have other funeral services to compare with. I cannot imagine any other funeral service providers to match White Rose.
They were always up front with their charges and I felt we had good value for money.
Most importantly I think my dad would've approved of his funeral and the way in which we were supported throughout the process.

I recommended that my partner choose a “no fuss” funeral for his father through White Rose when he died recently and it was the perfect answer to his confusion over how to mark his father's death. We then did the same when our father died and feel it gave all the family private time to say goodbye without the necessity of having to organise a complicated event (which we did later). We felt we didn’t miss out on a vital part of the formal aspect of marking the end of a loved one’s journey whilst lessening the burden of creating a whole funeral at a time none of us could really focus on it.

We had the most wonderful experience with White Rose Modern Funerals. They couldn’t have been more helpful and more sympathetic in a difficult time . My mother’s funeral was organised as seamlessly as possible with such grace and dignity. Only wish Mum could have seen what a gracious and elegant funeral White Rose organised for us. She def would have approved!!! White Rose made organising the funeral the least stressful part of the whole experience and continued to remain calm when we couldn’t choose hymns or readings!!! The whole experience was exceptional - highly recommend.

Look No Further
Most Funeral Directors are willing to talk at length about the services they offer, so what makes White Rose different? They don’t talk very much at all: instead they listen very loudly to what you have to say about what you want for your loved one.
My daughter and I visited them at their premises in Twickenham to discuss the possibility of them arranging the funeral for my wife and her mother. We left two hours later, not because that was the time that had been allotted but because we all felt that an understanding had been reached about what was needed and how it could be provided.
They suggested a possible celebrant they could recommend, and we and a close friend spent around a further two hours on a later occasion, talking to her. In the light of that discussion, she produced a written first draft and that was modified through emails over a number of days until we all felt happy with it.
My wife had left very specific instructions in her will about what she did and did not want to feature in her funeral. It was a sentiment we all shared and it was exactly what White Rose were happy to provide. We were all very pleasantly surprised that they could supply such a relatively personalised service for such a relatively modest cost.
If you’re looking for the funeral you would like it to be, rather than the one the undertakers want to provide and sell to you, our advice is simple: go to White Rose. I’m sure that, just as we did, you’ll come away entirely reassured about the preparations and delighted with the outcome. We’d recommend their services without even the slightest reservation.

An uplifting day given the circumstances
From the moment I had to call White Rose to discuss funeral arrangements for my husband Christopher, they were calm , kind and reassuring in every way .
The communication with the team was excellent , and at all times my questions were answered .
We as a family opted to have the private cremation service first , just to be attended by direct family. This was followed by a short 2 hour break , and then the Celebration of Christophers's life service was held in the local church and was as uplifting as possible given the circumstances . Many people commentated on how seamless and calm the day was , and I can only thank White Rose and the liason which took place between Father David at St Mary and St Alban . Teddington

White Rose made it as easy as it could ever be to say Farewell to my husband.
The White Rose team helped me clarify my ideas on what sort of funeral I wanted them to provide. They were quietly efficient in getting everything together on time with tech back up from Nick to produce a wonderful invitation, dedicated webpage and slide show. On the day Rob put the family pall bearers at their ease and gave them the confidence to carry the coffin on their shoulders. White Rose worked as a team so no matter who I called the person answering was able to take action or advise me. Sarah Burley, the Celebrant, I commissioned through White Rose was expert in reflecting my husband's life in a way that fitted his character and my wishes. The whole White Rose team were absolutely fantastic throughout the whole process of arranging my Brother's funeral recently.
