White Rose performed flawlessly, responding helpfully to every thought we had, nothing was too much trouble to organise or to help with. Our whole family were very happy with them.

White Rose were amazing in arranging my Dad's funeral. They were incredibly supportive and empathetic throughout the whole process, unlike some of the more traditional funeral directors we originally spoke to. Nothing else like them in the local area so cannot recommend them highly enough.

Facing a bereavement is traumatic in itself but from the start Nick and Jacquie provided a sensitive and compassionate approach to the funeral of my beloved son. They talked us through the various options, they liaised with the church and the officiating minister, they helped with admin details and compiled a most beautiful order of service sheet. I sadly lost my mum just a few weeks ago. It was very sudden and I was bereft. From our very first conversation, Jacqui, Nick and all their staff supported me through the initial tentative discussions to the creation of a service that would be fitting as a celebration of my mother’s life. I knew clearly what I didn’t want but had less of an understanding of what I did. They steered me through all my choices, a traditional burial, cremation, funeral, wake, a celebration of life, capturing my likes and dislikes and wove them into a service at the wonderful Pembroke Lodge in Richmond Park. My mum was an amazing woman, deserving of an amazing send off and White Rose certainly provided it. My mum had also stipulated ‘put me in a cardboard box’ and White Rose helped me with that too, providing a stunningly beautiful casket printed with the most amazing flowers to express my mother’s love for gardening. Throughout the process I was kept fully informed, they recommended a wonderful celebrant, they regularly emailed me with timelines and milestones to sure I was on track. They kept me up to date via WhatsApp and were very responsive to my queries. They offer a truly unique service; Mum’s celebration of life was full of joy and laughter in the most gorgeous of rooms with views of the vale. A thoroughly ‘modern’ service in every way.

I was a mourner at a friend's funeral recently and White Rose directed and ran it. The husband and wife owners Nick and Jacqui are local professional people and were very hands-on, ensuring personally that everyone was greeted well and helped to seats and that the service ran smoothly. I felt that they really cared and that it was not just another day's work for them - and they did this discreetly and unobtrusively. The celebrant also, to me, hit the correct tone. He was excellent. Certainly as a mourner, it was all very impressively done and I would recommend White Rose to anyone.

Nick, Jacqui and team made the whole experience of arranging our father's funeral efficient and smooth. They were kind, sensitive and professional, unobtrusively ensuring that everything ran like clockwork on the day, as well as in the days leading up to the funeral. Without them, we would not have been able to arrange a funeral in four days, to enable as many overseas family members to attend as possible. We are grateful for all the help during an extremely sad time for us and would highly recommend.

I cannot express what a relief it was to meet with Sabrina and Holly from White Rose Modern Funerals for the first time. After the shock of losing my husband I realise that I was holding lots of fears about what came next. I was dreading entering a funeral directors and encountering funeral ornaments and drapery in sombre colours and a mood to match. I didn’t know what to expect – but I knew what I didn’t want. So much around loss feels out of our control and I felt a rising panic as I began to receive messages of condolence with requests regarding the funeral arrangements. The first visit I made to White Rose was with my two daughters, both are young women for whom the premature death of their father has been a huge shock. From the first moment we stepped into White Rose we felt listened to. We were not rushed or directed in any way. The experience has been one of huge support. My daughters have voiced that they don’t know how we would have got through without White Rose. They helped us throughout in a gentle manner and have continued to offer support since the funeral. Nick and Jacqui are caring and sensitive. White Rose Modern Funerals is clearly founded on strong values and a desire to offer a very personal and individualised service. It is important to feel heard and that in itself was reassuring. It is helping us as a family during these early days. We feel we have continuing support from White Rose. Most importantly the service was beautiful.

I would like to say a personal thanks to Nick, Jacqui, Sabrina and Holly for being so great whilst arranging my mothers funeral along with a big thanks to Rob and the rest of the team on the day for ensuring everything ran so smoothly. The team were excellent in arranging and organising everything and made what would have been a very stressful process feel very easy indeed. Nothing was too much trouble, they were respectful, helpful, understanding and responsive and they even made the arrangement of picking Mum up from Scotland to bring her home to London feel like an easy one. With myself being in Warwickshire and my sister being in Scotland, The combination of modern technology whilst keeping the personal feel made organising the funeral from a distance feel like we were sat with them. My sister Rowena and I would not hesitate in recommending white rose to anybody as they have been so comforting and helpful during these difficult times. I didn't know where to start with the planning of my mothers funeral. But when I found White Rose Modern Funerals I knew I was in capable and sympathetic hands. My experience was of kindness compassion and professionalism. Every detail was carefully considered to reflect my wishes and the spirit of my mother,. I was gently guided every step of the way. I cannot imagine a better experience at such a sad time. I had so many notes from attendees saying what a perfectly lovely tribute it had been. Highly recommend .

We are hugely grateful to White Rose for making the funeral such a lovely goodbye, all our anxiety around the traditional format was swept away. White Rose's approach is kind, thoughtful, and centered around the grieving family. We felt guided and supported through such a difficult time. It seems odd to say how lovely a funeral was, but it really was a wonderful way to say goodbye to father. Nothing was too much trouble for the team at White Rose, from the very first communication they were polite, professional and compasionate. They were easy to get hold of via telephone, whatssap and email. They understood when we changed decsions and were always happy to accomodate ideas that we had. They were also able to accomodate the real personal touches we wanted, including a Land Rover Hearse. Nobody ever wants to have to recommend a funeral directors, but should I have to I would recommend White Rose.

Nick and Jacqui responded sensitively to all my enquiries and provided the support I needed to ease my anxieties. They provided an exceptional service while remaining unobtrusive. White Rose provided an excellent and responsive service throughout the process, from initial planning to the funeral itself. They encouraged us from the outset to plan the kind of funeral we wanted: in our case a family-led one. They were highly efficient but also sensitive to our feelings. In particular they helped us develop a slideshow of photographs with music which was a very moving and memorable part of the funeral service. We recommend them without hesitation.

We chose White Rose Modern Funerals because we wanted a small family-run firm to take care of my wife's funeral rather than one of the larger chains. Our choice was wholly vindicated by the personal touch and care which Nick, Jacqui, Holly and Sabrina applied to our needs.
