Tried numerous cobblers to fit horseshoe heels and toe plates to my boots to no avail so emailed Sam at the whitby cobbler who said he would have a go so got my boots back all done and perfect thank you Sam for doing what nobody else would or could do so I would highly recommend this place to anyone for repairs and to buy quality shoes and boots

I went to buy a pair of trickers after my deployment in the middle east as I'm just celebrating my 15 years in the royal navy as a minewarfare specialist. I found a pair on sale unfortunately there was a mistake on there website and they were not available. Any normal shop would just apologise. Whitby cobblers went out of there way to ensure I received a pair giving me a more expensive option. This was going far beyond what they needed too and what I expected. Customer service like this isn't seen much these days. I highly recommend Whitby cobblers to everyone and will now be the only place I'll be buying my shoes in future.

A late review, but I bought a pair of Iron Rangers from The Whitby Cobbler abour 6 weeks ago at a very competitive price. The boots arrived very promptly and quality of service was excellent. I would encourage anyone interested in great service to use small independant shops. A great shop, in a great location. I like to think that Dracula would have bought his murderous footwear at the Whitby Cobbler!
