Have been in Holland for a while and have utilized others of our super great mechanics, but recently have taken my vehicles here. They have great availability, a speedy turnaround if you book an appointment online ahead of time, and are not pushy at all but look out for you by giving you a heads up about future recommended maintenance. Super nice guys and will be taking my vehicles here from now on!

brought my vehicle (toyota 4runner) in for some basic maintenance ( wheel speed sensor, TPMS sensor and license plate light) and was done in a day.

West Side Auto has done some really good work for me. They fixed a number of problems with my truck and my wife’s car. They finished the work on time and the repairs made a big improvement in how my vehicles ran and handled. I’m planning to use them again in the future, because I am confident of the quality of their work

I had an issue suddenly come up with my car-and Westside was able to fit me into their schedule on a holiday-New Year’s Eve. It turned out to be an easy fix-loose heat pan bel or insulation. They still did a full check of entire car. I am so very thankful for their quick and efficient help.

I'll leave my initial review, that was a 5-star, because that situation is true. But later on, they misdiagnosed weird noises in the back right tire, did a fix that was their "best guess," and put on new tires. I needed to save money where I could, so I asked for good tires, they didn't need to be the best, but they need to be good. . . these things are crap. When that didn't work, they were going to "try" new struts on both sides in the back. They would have cost me more money and would not have fixed the problem if I had not asked a mechanic friend for advice. He visited, checked my car out. I did NOT need struts in the back. So, the next thing they were going to try would have been wrong and a complete waste of more than $1,500.
The friend was unable to diagnose the problem without being able to lift the car. So, I took my car elsewhere, told the shop manager I was going to walk to the restaurant next door for lunch while they hopefully diagnosed the problem. I was called before I even sat down at a table. They had it figured out within minutes of lifting it. I need a knuckle and ball bearing in the tire/wheel that is making the noise and I found this out in minutes of going elsewhere. That is a BIG DEAL. Needless to say, Westside will not work on my car again. I've been trying to save up money for a very costly repair that I don't need and would have continued on with a tire making knocking/thumping noises and still needing a very important repair! The "Mechanics" at Westside told me they couldn't hear the noises after doing the first "repair," yet I heard them on the way home.
I'm sorry to have to do this. My initial service from them was outstanding, but the misdiagnosed noises coming from my back tire is a huge problem and no one can afford a mechanic that is making guesses instead of proper diagnosis.
1st review: I needed an emergency repair before having to head to the east side of the state for funeral. I called around to mechanics, maybe my 5th or 6th call was Westside.
They said come asap, we'll see what we can do. I thought I knew what the problem was - I was wrong!
The friendliness, the service, having repair OPTIONS! WOW! Not just, "this is your total." How refreshing! I was given a ride home. Then was shown photos of the work, photos of a repair I'll need soon. I was just so impressed! My last mechanic closed and I've tried a few places, but I think I have a new auto service location.

Took them two days to fix 2 tpms sensors, oil change, and fix an abs sensor wire while ignoring my big concerns. Bring your car to Muffler Man. They could probably get that done in an hour.
