Well I am certainly glad that I found West Coast IT.
Great service by all,especially Jessie, who kept me in the loop with my major Laptop drama.
And for carrying and recommending my new Laptop.
Microsoft have defeated all our attempts to rectify the problem.
But I have to wait for the slack mob.
I will certainly be taking my spare Laptop and my Wife's Laptop ,to be cleaned and sorted out as well .

I forgot to take photos of my damaged Laptop, sadly Champagne spilt on it and fried the " motherboard " . I will be purchasing my new Lenovo today ( Monday 12th June).
So some good news.
Since mid February 2026 I have had start-up problems with my tower PC. A mobile computer โtechnicianโ watched my PC boot late in February, and declared that my 2TB HDD was faulty and had died, causing the machine to default to BIOS. I ran tests on the HDD and the results indicated the HDD, far from being dead or faulty, was performing perfectly well.
When my computer failed to boot altogether and with no indication of power at all, I took it to West Coast I.T. for a diagnosis and to remedy the fault. The fault was not the HDD, but with the power supply unit. However, at home I continued to have intermittent start-up problems.
Jesse from West Coast I.T. suggested I return the computer for additional tests. I returned the computer and it was tested on the spot; these tests demonstrated that the computer was starting normally. I agreed with one of the technicians that it would be prudent to purchase a new surge protector power board and consider investigating my homeโs electrical problems. Upon purchasing a new surge protector power board rated at over 2100 joules and plugging the computer into it, the computer booted flawlessly.
West Coast I.T. justly deserved very high praise for accurately diagnosing the power supply unit failure and replacing it and for re-testing the computer at short notice.
I heartedly recommend West Coast I.T. for their thoroughness, candor, fault-finding and workmanship. I certainly intend doing business with them in the future. They are more than deserving of five stars.
These guys are the best in the business. They are so very helpful and know there work and how to sort out any problems. I've had work dealing with this Company for the last 3 years and would NOT go anywhere else. Computers are moving so fast and it's hard to keep up with all there new perks but these guys know how to fix and problem solve remotely so I dont have to drive for a hour to fix anything just a phone call away and they can fix anything while your at your deck. Arrived at WC IT with my laptop. Explained what was wrong. Jesse calmly and quietly told me what it could be. Handed it over. I was kept informed the entire time. It was virtually impossible to undo the corruption that had occurred during the last update. Jesse did his best and returned the laptop as new. Have spent the day reloading everything..lol. Jesse and crew are brilliant! Cant thank them enough. PS I found ALL my photos Jesse! Winning!
