I highly recommend West Coast Heating Air Solar. Tanner was my technician and was fantastic. I had another company tell me I needed a new blower motor and quoted over $1500. Tanner checked out my system and said I only needed a part for the blower motor at a cost of $250. Tanner was on time, kind, professional, and educated me and my air conditioning unit. Don't hesitate to use this company. Honesty and expertise is fantastic to find!!!!

West Coast Heating and Air provided one of the best customer experiences we've ever had. They were our third quote and offered great, middle of the road pricing (another company, Blue Diamond, actually quoted us double!). Mark Peterson came out for the estimate and was incredibly nice, knowledgeable, and fair, giving us total confidence. The install team, led by Serhii Bilyi, was amazing. It was 100 degrees outside, but they worked tirelessly with barely a break. They were professional, friendly, and always kept the workspace clean. Though scheduled for 3 days, they pulled a 12-hour shift on day two just to make sure our AC was running that night. Truly impressive work, highly recommend! To top it all off, we just completed the 3rd-party inspection/testing required by law, and the inspector specifically told us it was a job very well done!

I was already a West Coast customer (they installed my HVAC a few years ago) and after shopping to get my AC system serviced and tuned up, I decided to go ahead and join the West Coast Club maintenance bundle which includes servicing my AC cooling system, heating system and water heater. Today Robert and Chris promptly showed up to service and flush/descale my tankless water heater (which is much needed with San Diego hard water). Robert and Chris were professional, friendly and great communicators - nice guys. They knocked out the job and went over the condition of my water heater and provided photos.They even answered a few questions I had about another plumbing issue I was dealing with. Pleased with the service and convenience of the entire process.

Robin can out and gave us a quote for replacement of our toilet with a smart toilet. He also told us about the club services for our water system , heating & Air and solar. He was very helpful . We signed up for the club services and Friday he is installing our new toilet! Very pleased.

I've had several companies come out to look at a problem with airflow to one zone with no success. After about an hour Sam located the problem and made a simple repair. Problem solved. Sam provided pictures and a clear explanation of the issue.

Update: shortly after posting this, I was contacted by the President/CEO of the company, who offered to make things right. He offered a complimentary one year membership of their PM program and assisted with getting a plumber to my house the same day we talked. In case I didn’t want to continue business with him, he sent a check that actually did arrive. Given the gesture and keeping of his word, I am revising the rating slightly to 3 stars. I am still on the fence about the membership program as I have not received any of those services yet. Hopefully things go well and I can bump up this rating. ————— I have used West Coast to install a new central HVAC system and a new water heater. Those services went smoothly and everything runs acceptably well after a couple years. I’d give them a solid 4 or 4.5 stars because there was a small issue with one of the crews during the HVAC install, but the upper management took care of that swiftly. I’m dropping their rating to 2 stars now due to the unsatisfactory plumbing portion of the company. This is a new service West Coast offers and I decided to try them out to fix a leaking tub faucet. My first appointment was moved because the online booking system allowed me to make an appointment that wasn’t actually available. Fine, stuff happens. Fast forward to my rescheduled appointment today, and I find out during the appointment window that the company can’t get a hold of the plumber and no one else is available for my appointment. I was not going to reschedule a 3rd appointment after this. This was thoroughly disappointing and incredibly frustrating since I have to adjust my work schedule a 3rd time now. TL;DR: plumbing service sucks, HVAC service is ok.
