The place is wonderful! Five star views. Great location. Near many restaurants, bakeries, shopping. Easy access to transportation. Very spacious, well designed, attractive, comfortable space. Just be aware, owner is very slow to respond and at least once he never answered a question. To be fair, Beat was on vacation during part of our stay. So maybe communication would have been better if he were not. Also, be prepared to buy basics such as paper towels, trash bags, soap, shampoo, etc. When I asked Beat for paper towels and an extra trash bag, he told me I could get those at the grocery store. When I politely persisted, he sent up one torn trash bag. At the end of the of our stay, Beat came to introduce himself. He was kind and polite. But also informed us we needed to leave a tourist tax in cash before we leave. I called Airbnb to confirm, and it was in fact in the Additional Rules page of his Airbnb site. Some definite drawbacks, but was still a great place to stay.

Wonderful stay at the accommodation! The apartment is well located on a main road, spacious, very clean, and well-maintained, with all basic amenities required for light cooking/tea/coffee. Plenty of restaurants around and bakery Fuchs is a few steps away, helpful to grab sweet treats or a quick sandwich. There was indeed an excellent view of the Matterhorn from the balcony, giving bonus points while enjoying our breakfast! Beat was very friendly, easy to reach and helpful during our stay. We would be happy to stay here again.

Beat’s place was perfect for the Matterhorn view! Furthermore, the place was super clean, as if it had just been constructed, making us feel very comfortable. Well equipped for a family with two kids, including a toddler. Taking a shower, eating, and sleeping - everything was just comfortable, even with fussy kids (after a long hike😂) because of the place. Beat sometimes stopped by, ensured everything was fine for us, and gave us some helpful info, making us feel safe and relaxed. We definitely want to come back!!

☺A proximité du centre ville. La famille de l'hôte et l'hôte lui même sont d'une gentillesse incroyable.
L'appartement est gigantesque et ont y trouve bcp de chose. La vue sur le cervin est incroyable et si on observe bien la nuit on peut y observer des petites lumières qui descendent le cervin.
☹Pas la faute de l'hôte mais quand les voisins du dessus écoute de la musique à fond cela s'entend pas mal.
Sinon manque juste qqs produit d'entretien pour faire la vaisselle.
Les lits sont un peu durs mais cela conviendra certainement à pas mal de personnes!

Great value in the center of Zermatt; like a home away from home.
☺ The kitchen was well equipped for family meals. The apartment feels even larger than the listed 1700+ sq/ft. Unobstructed views of the Matterhorn from the balcony and living room. Location was central and close to most facilities.
☹ The only downside is that there was no A/C. You don't really need the A/C, but with the windows open, you hear some people at night.
