My experience with WeBuyBackElectronics was mixed and leaned more toward disappointing. The website itself is easy to navigate, and getting an initial quote for my device was quick and straightforward. The price they offered upfront was actually higher than a few competitors, which is what convinced me to move forward.
Shipping the device was simple—they provided a prepaid label, and I didn’t have to worry about packaging too much. However, things changed after they received my item. Despite my device being in very good condition with only minor signs of use, I was notified that it didn’t meet the original condition I selected. As a result, the final offer was reduced by a noticeable amount.
While they did provide a reason for the adjustment, the explanation felt somewhat vague and not very detailed. It would have been helpful to get clearer criteria beforehand or even photos showing what they found during inspection. At that point, I had the option to accept the new offer or have my device returned, but returning it would have taken more time, so I chose to accept the lower payment.
Payment did come through, but it took a few extra days longer than I expected based on their initial timeline. Customer service responded when I reached out, but the responses felt a bit generic rather than personalized to my situation.
Overall, the process is convenient and legitimate, but the difference between the quoted price and the final payout was frustrating.
