As a first-time buyer, I had no idea how to get a mortgage, and nobody seemed willing to help me, then along came Allen! From start to finish (and even after), he was fantastic. He took the time to explain everything clearly and went above and beyond to secure my mortgage. If any issues popped up, Allen was on them straight away. OUTSTANDING SERVICE We have finally completed and moved into our new home on the 19th June. To cut a very long story short, myself and my husband wanted to move to a bigger home. We had looked at houses that we liked and knew that we would need a mortgage. With this being our first mortgage together, we weren't sure of the amount we could borrow going forward as a duo. Colin took us under his wing and got the ball rolling. He was such a positive person and even when we were presented with a few hurdles, he always found a way to over come them. Throughout the process, he always remained in touch and gave us updates and advice on which way to go. His knowledge and expertise is second to none, and always delivered with positivity and humour - which we really liked! He consistently checked the Interest rates and would always update us with any change or news. House moving is stressful enough, and to have the added pressure of scouring the Internet for mortgage deals is quite frankly enough to make me want to hibernate 😆 It was an incredibly positive and easy transition from start to finish and I cannot recommend Colin enough. As a first time buyer, I had Joe Wallace as my mortgage broker and he worked fantastically with me. I wouldn't have chosen anyone else and I will definitely be using him for my next house purchase. He gave me detailed presentations on the process of house buying, insurances and always gave me great advice on how I should be going about the house buying process. As someone who has never bought a house before, it can seem like a very daunting and scary task. That's why it's so important to have an experienced and knowledgeable person tied to the hip to guide you through every single detail of the house purchase. He got me the best interest rate going and had my best interests as his first priority. Working out of hours, answering my phone call questions on holiday, Joe went above and beyond to make sure I had the best house buying experience that was stress free and reassured. With every house purchase, there are challenges of course but I couldn't have done this without Joe.

5 stars isn't enough! We started using Wallace finance when we felt let down by another company. Colin's expertise and honest advice helped us get on the path we needed to be on! Even with huge mortgage rate changes along the process he managed to get us a really competitive deal! He stayed in regular contact with us providing advice and insights along our whole 18 month journey, day, night weekends and more importantly never stopped being positive which helped us feel like everything was under control. Even supporting us in completing life insurance policies and building & contents insurance, nothing seemed an issue! Without this man and his company i honestly belive we would of given in on the process! Really glad we didn't and stuck with it! 110% recommend Kieran & Safron

A top class service I had the pleasure of Allen guiding me through the process of my first remortgage. I’ve known Allen for years and feel entirely safe and secure with his professional approach. He left no stone unturned throughout the remortgage, improving the good deal he’d already found us just before the renewal completed. Allen is diligent, smart and a very clear communicator. Allen helped me secure my mortgage and income protection for my first home. It made my life such much easier. We had a few zoom calls where we went through the whole process and Allen asked me what I wanted. Allen explained the process really well and answered all of my questions. I then left Allen to it. He was easy to contact and would reply swiftly. I would message him night and day and I would always get a helpful reply. He managed to secure a good mortgage deal and even updated it a few times when the interest rates went down. The mortgage monthly payments are well in my budget meaning I can save and overpay the mortgage, which is something I wanted to do. This being my first buy and doing it by myself I was obviously quite nervous about it but having Allen there every step advising me what to do was so valuable. I'm going to recommend him to anyone I know that's going to buy a house. And will use him to navigate my remortgage when I come off the fixed rate.

Colin and the team were fantastic, knowlegable and supportive every step of the way! We had a very protracted relocation which laster almost two years as we were gazumped time after time, which required the mortgage offer regenerating multiple times (in the midst of BoE interest rate hikes). Colin and team were supportive throughout and stuck to the initial quote, despite all the changes and aletrations along the way. Cannot reccomend highly enough!

Where to start. Allen is the guy if you have a challenge. Last year we contacted Allen with regards to getting a mortgage, the sale didn't end up going through but it still became apparent that there would be a few 'hurdles' to overcome when we did want to proceed with a mortgage application. This year our search for a house continued, after 2 estate agents looked into the mortgage for us we were given a straight no within an hour without them even digging a little deeper (the estate agents in question advised that they prefer you to use their mortgage providers to make the process 'easier') We then viewed a house which would be sold through a private sale, this is where Allen came to the rescue and quite literally worked his socks off for us to get us the right lender. Allen has been there from start to finish with no stone left unturned. We are due to complete on our house buy in less than 2 weeks and we can't thank him enough. I would recommend Allen to absolutely anyone. If there is a mortgage advisor that can help with a difficult case it is definitely him! I've said it hundreds of times but Thank you again, you have made our dreams a reality!
