We recently hired Edgar and his team to replace the carpet in our three bedrooms with luxury vinyl plank (LVP) flooring, as well as lower and paint all the baseboards. I cannot recommend them highly enough! The entire crew was incredibly fast, friendly, and professional. Their craftsmanship is absolute perfection—the floors look stunning, and the baseboard trim work is completely seamless. What really blew me away was how meticulously they cleaned up after themselves. They left our home spotless, completely removing all construction debris and dust. They exceeded all of our expectations. We would definitely hire them again for future projects!

We hired Washington Hardwood Floors & Remodeling LLC. for a full apartment flooring installation project, along with completing work in a guest bathroom that included retiling the bathroom floor, installing a new vanity, and replacing the toilet. The shower had already been remodeled previously, so we mainly needed the remaining work completed efficiently and within a short timeframe. The team was organized, professional, and worked quickly without sacrificing quality. The bathroom portion was completed in about a day and a half, which fit perfectly with our schedule and minimized disruption. They also cleaned up thoroughly after the work was finished, which we appreciated. The pricing was reasonable and stayed within budget, and overall we were very satisfied with the results. I worked with Edgar and Washington Hardwood Floors & Remodeling LLC. on a large tile installation project that included approximately 20,000 SF of flooring and bathroom work for a mall store, and I’m very happy with the results. From the beginning, Edgar was professional, punctual, detail-oriented, and easy to communicate with. After having difficulty getting responses from other contractors, he returned my inquiry quickly and was ready to discuss the project in detail. I’m very particular about design details and was heavily involved in planning the layouts, flooring transitions, bathroom finishes, and overall installation approach. The team installed new vinyl flooring as well as carpeting in the main meeting area, Bible study rooms, and the pastor’s office. They also completed custom carpet work for the multi-level front stage, which turned out very nicely. We recently had Washington Hardwood Floors & Remodeling LLC. refinished approximately 5,000 SF of wood flooring in our home, and the results turned out beautifully. Edgar and his team were professional, detail-oriented, and clearly took pride in the quality of their work from start to finish. Before the project began, Edgar personally stopped by to prepare a few sample stain finishes directly on our floor so we could compare the colors in person instead of relying only on brochure images. That extra step was extremely helpful in making the final decision. One challenge was that part of the home had pre-finished wood flooring while the rest had traditional hardwood, but the team did an excellent job blending the finishes so the transition looks seamless. We also chose to have them handle moving the furniture while we were away, which made the process much easier for us. The crew was organized, respectful of the home, and focused on delivering a high-quality result. He came the same day after finishing his job somewhere else, to discuss some projects we wanted done. We were impressed with his expertise, his suggestions, explaining how he was going to do the job, and the number of days to complete the work. We received his cost estimate in a timely manner. He doesn't waste any time! He is very friendly, professional, meticulous, and a hard worker, because he delivered and finished the renovations just as he said! As soon as we walked into our house to see the finished work, including cabinets repainted in the kitchen & bathrooms, new floor installation, new stairway handrail, new safety grab bars in the shower, and new closet wood shelves, we got the impression of being in a new house. Communication was just so so. I had to remind them that I had sent email. This is not a big deal as there are times that people are busy. Pricing...wow. May be they're a high end business and work mostly with affluent people/businesses, but the price quote was a lot for drywall, painting and flooring. I won't go into specifics regarding the details of the work or the quote, but wow. If I lived in the area(house is a rental) I can/would do the work myself, so I have a good understanding of what's required to do the work. Anyways, this was my experience. I'm not saying they're a bad business. They're just not a good fit for what I'm looking for.

As you can read on the other reviews, we had a similar excellent experience with Washington Hardwood Floors & Remodeling LLC. and specifically with Edgar who seamlessly managed the major remodel project on our condo which included a new kitchen layout, new dining room cabinets, two bathrooms, a new walk-in closet, updated ceilings, new recessed lighting throughout, and painting the full condo. Edgar set up a well-defined project timeline (which he was able to stick to) and managed all the activities with the various contractors, the building management, and city inspectors. Edgar provided us with weekly updates and promptly addressed concerns or questions we had along the way. We are very happy with the quality and outcome of the remodel. Awesome. Bought our first home and the first thing we wanted to do was take the carpet out and install hardwood. After a few quotes we landed on Washington hardwood. They were super easy to work with, and very fair. They even came on the weekend to finish it earlier so my BF could help pick the stain before he left on a work trip. Edgar was super communicative and easy to work for and they left the space so beautiful. Would recommend them over and over again. We are planning on tiling are bathroom next and super excited to work with them again.
