Edgar and the Washington Hardwood Floors & Remodeling LLC team. exceeded our expectations! His reviews are so good that we called for him to help us with our home renovations. He came the same day after finishing his job somewhere else, to discuss some projects we wanted done. We were impressed with his expertise, his suggestions, explaining how he was going to do the job, and the number of days to complete the work. We received his cost estimate in a timely manner. He doesn't waste any time! He is very friendly, professional, meticulous, and a hard worker, because he delivered and finished the renovations just as he said! As soon as we walked into our house to see the finished work, including cabinets repainted in the kitchen & bathrooms, new floor installation, new stairway handrail, new safety grab bars in the shower, and new closet wood shelves, we got the impression of being in a new house. We will be calling Edgar to do more work for us in the future.

You could NOT do better than Edgar and his crew!!! He’s responsive, prices are reasonable, gets the job done right, and fast! He lets me ask a thousand questions! His crew showed obvious respect for my office, did not leave anything messy, and protected my belongings. He won’t try to sell you on his way to do things, or try to take from the cost of materials (he lets you pay for those separately so there’s never any doubt you’ll save money here too because he will even go pick up all the materials! All the flooring, baseboards and toilets from multiple locations so that I wouldn’t have to be charged for delivery. The pride he has in his work is so very obvious in the finished product. He has my business FOR LIFE!! We’re already talking about the next project!

We did a complete house remodel that includes windows, flooring, kitchen renovation, roof, bathrooms, master suite, painting, with garage refinish, and in a few words - it was excellent! Edgar was our project manager who was very responsive, professional, and ready to help. The process was straightforward, and they gave us clarification throughout the whole process. Also, the office team opened a group chat for us so all communications were done in one place, and the process was easier than expected - not to mention that the final product is beautiful. You can't go wrong with Washington Hardwood Floors & Remodeling LLC. - They took care of our project from start to finish, and I am glad to say that they were the right choice for the job. Communication was just so so. I had to remind them that I had sent email. This is not a big deal as there are times that people are busy. Pricing...wow. May be they're a high end business and work mostly with affluent people/businesses, but the price quote was a lot for drywall, painting and flooring. I won't go into specifics regarding the details of the work or the quote, but wow. If I lived in the area(house is a rental) I can/would do the work myself, so I have a good understanding of what's required to do the work. Anyways, this was my experience. I'm not saying they're a bad business. They're just not a good fit for what I'm looking for.

They assisted us in selecting the perfect tile and fixtures for our project, and the results exceeded my expectations. As you can read on the other reviews, we had a similar excellent experience with Washington Hardwood Floors & Remodeling LLC. and specifically with Edgar who seamlessly managed the major remodel project on our condo which included a new kitchen layout, new dining room cabinets, two bathrooms, a new walk-in closet, updated ceilings, new recessed lighting throughout, and painting the full condo. Edgar set up a well-defined project timeline (which he was able to stick to) and managed all the activities with the various contractors, the building management, and city inspectors. Edgar provided us with weekly updates and promptly addressed concerns or questions we had along the way. We are very happy with the quality and outcome of the remodel. It’s obvious to us that Washington Hardwood Floors & Remodeling LLC. has many high-quality people working for them and a professional work ethic that starts with the ownership. Awesome. Bought our first home and the first thing we wanted to do was take the carpet out and install hardwood. After a few quotes we landed on Washington hardwood. They were super easy to work with, and very fair. They even came on the weekend to finish it earlier so my BF could help pick the stain before he left on a work trip. Edgar was super communicative and easy to work for and they left the space so beautiful. Would recommend them over and over again. We are planning on tiling are bathroom next and super excited to work with them again.

Edgar and his team at Washington Hardwood Floors and Restorations did a wonderful job for us to repair damage to our Eucalyptus hardwood floor. The damage was caused when a contractor doing work for us inside the house removed masking tape that was securing cloth that was (ironically) protecting the floor while work was being done. When the tape was removed, the finish to the floor was damaged on three different planks. The Eucaluyptus flooring was originally installed a couple of years ago (by a different flooring company). So we were very concerned about being left with permanent damage on our new flooring. The repair job was complicated because the planks couldn't easily be replaced due to the way the flooring was originally installed. Edgar worked with us to find a way to match the finish to the floor and then to apply it to the planks so that the repair blended to the rest of the floor and is not noticeable. Edgar's team did the repair on schedule, and were skilled, professional, courteous, and responded to all of our questions and concerns. We're happy with the finished product and would definitely recommend them.

The old maple flooring in our kitchen and dining room was terribly worn and discolored. There was some water damage from a leaking French door from before we bought the house. The floor had not been refinished in 28 years. Washington Hardwood came in with a reasonable bid, showed up when they said they would and did a beautiful job of repairing and refinishing our floor! I cannot recommend this company highly enough! Thanks Ed and crew!
