We had such a wonderful experience with The Barn at Grace Hill! My parents live right down the road from the venue, and my husband is from the Wichita area, so it was the perfect spot to get married! All of the staff were so helpful leading up to the wedding (answering all of my questions) and on our wedding day (making sure things ran smoothly). The included decoration room they have is an added bonus and made planning so much easier! We couldn't have imagined a more beautiful venue to get married at!!!
I recently hired them for a company event. We had a last minute change in our event and I had to cancel their services. They we very understanding of the situation. Prior to this all the communication was timely and friendly and I truly appreciate their understanding of the last minute cancellation.

I had the most incredible experience at Avid Artistry in Mulvane today for my very first boudoir shoot. From the moment I walked in, I was cared for in ways that went far beyond photography.
Getting my hair and makeup done allowed me to see myself in an entirely new light, one I hadn’t been able to create on my own. And then working with Amanda… wow. She made me feel seen, safe, and genuinely beautiful. I laughed so much throughout the shoot, and the fact that I was mostly naked just speaks to the kind of space she creates comfortable, affirming, and deeply respectful.
My shoot was originally scheduled for August, but due to health issues Amanda needed to reschedule. She was incredibly honest and communicative the entire time; even staying in consistent contact while she was in the hospital. That level of care is rare. She went above and beyond to make it right by fitting me in December and generously offering additional time to my shoot.
Amanda and her entire crew are inclusive, trauma-informed, and your girls the second you walk through the door. Need advice? Affirmations? Space? Support? They meet you exactly where you are. It’s not just about the photos it’s about being in a space that’s so safe you can be fully yourself outside of your own home.
The events Amanda hosts are what first brought me to Avid (shoutout to the pool party two years ago!), and now I can confidently say I’m an Avid girlie for life. Her care for her clients goes far beyond a typical photography experience this is community, healing, and empowerment wrapped into one.

I had such a great experience at Dress Gallery. Marisa was absolutely amazing to work with. She helped me find my dream wedding dress and made me feel so confident in it and every single dress I tried on. Marisa and the Dress Gallery team were so welcoming towards my crew and I and made wedding dress shopping both fun and relaxing. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
I had so much fun trying on dresses at Brick and Bustle! The shop is chic and beautiful, with many modern options and styles of dresses to choose from. My stylist Tasha asked if I'd show pictures of what I liked and then while I was there, a delivery came in and she picked out one that had the details I was hoping for! Getting to leave with the dress...and even the veil and jewelry was amazing. There were honestly so many dresses I loved, but it was so special to find a dress that felt like "me".

Brick & Bustle was my first dress appointment. I knew it was a little risky being an off-the-rack store. Either I wouldn’t find anything I loved, and that was ok, or I WOULD find a dress I loved and I’d be forced to decide to buy then or wait and possibly not be able to buy it down the road. Tasha was phenomenal. She was relaxed, helpful, knowledgeable and gave me all the time and advice I needed. She was also honest and really got to the bottom of what I did and did not like about the dresses I tried on. It was quiet in the shop though there were other appointments going on. The selection was really expansive in my size range and as a plus-size gal I was worried that wouldn’t be the case. I ended up trying about 5 dresses on and said yes to one that perfectly matched my vision for my wedding. Tasha wasn’t pushy, but she was informative regarding if I waited there was a risk it wouldn’t be here if I came back for it. I am so grateful to have discovered this shop and for Tasha’s help. In addition to all these positives, the shop was clean, very organized and the fitting room was spacious and comfortable.
I had NO desire to go wedding dress shopping, but hesitantly went anyway. I am extremely thankful Maria at Dress Gallery helped me pick my dress. She was so kind, listened, was never pushy, and truly made my wedding dress shopping experience the best. I can’t say enough positive things about her. If you’re hunting for your wedding dress I HIGHLY recommend shopping at Dress Gallery and be sure to ask for Maria. She seriously was incredible!
He did a show for our employees at our recognition event. He kept the audience engaged and was extremely funny on the spot. He was nice enough to come early and meet some of our staff to add a personal touch as well. Great guy and really easy to work with.

I had my first Appointment with Shaylee And it will Be the first of many. She was attentive, patient and knowledgeable. My hair looks beautiful and my curls have never been more defined.
My wedding date was 08/2025. We actually started planning our wedding in January 2025. So it is 8 months. We live in Kansas city and had wedding at Church in Wichita KS, and our reception at Drury. First of all I wanted to tell all brides to be that I had a concern to hire wedding planner because of the fee. But let me tell you all, it is absolutely worth every single dollar you spend on planner. I have been searching all planners in wichita KS, and talked to many of them, but we chose Sunflower with highest package they offer. Let me tell you all the reasons why:
- Sunflower team: Emily was my wedding planner, and Morgan is head of business. They both were very professional to guide us all step by step. Emily is absolutely my favorite because she was working with me based on my abailable time, and she was with me the whole time the day before, day of until midnight. I just can’t thank enough to have her as my wedding planner. I have too many good things about her, she listened to what I want, she understands what she is doing, she always told me that you don’t need to be stressed, we will take care of everything, just show up and enjoy the moment of your life. I do miss her and hopefully will see her again if my brother in law has wedding in Wichita. We definitely will choose her over and over again.
- Sunflower team working: absolutely 10/10. They work based on your time/schedule, they are there for you 24/7, they take you as their priority. They will defilnitely listen and make your wedding day as what you dream of.
- They work with your vendors, you don’t have to stress about that. They bargain, have meeting with your vendors to give you the best price, and give you the wedding that you dream of. I am telling you the money I saved up from vendors, I use it to pay my wedding planner, and pay my stress.
- On the day before, the day of and the day after, they will be there for you to schedule all rehearsal dinner meals, they with you like everytime.
- They have their kit bag to help you incase your dress having problem, they will be there for you when you need them.
So many good things I can’t tell in details but how great it is to have the team like that right?
Again, I absolutely am happy with Sunflower people. And I highly recommend them to all the bride to be that don’t want to stress, and still enjoy your days while preparing for your wedding!
