Jeremiah was such a good dude. He was professional and super friendly. It was worth every penny, having time to do it how you want at your own pace. The scenery of the landscape was beautiful and the cliff dwellings were by far my favorite. I will recommend this to everyone. We will do this again before we do one of those “other” guided tours. Great experience! Krissy made it so easy for us. We were immediately assisted and educated about the trails, equipment and the ATV. Krissy showed us places to stop and have a picnic which we did and it was beautiful. She warned me about putting my hair in a pony tail so it wouldn’t get tangled from the wind. She even gave me her hair tie since I forgot mine. Super sweet! The ATV was clean and a ton of fun to ride! The map on the provided tablet made it easy to follow the trail. They had a cooler with ice packs ready to go for us! We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to do it again!

Great service. Jeremiah and Chrissie were excellent, friendly and welcoming. Had a 4 seater UTV that worked well on and off road, we did the Mingus mountain run, great scenery and some challenges but great for a beginner like myself. Highly recommend.

My husband and I came to Arizona for an anniversary trip. Our first day was in the Cottonwood/ Sedona area. We knew we wanted to explore the beautiful landscape by going off road. We were going back and forth on which company to go through. We are so glad we went with Vortex ATV Rentals in Cottonwood, AZ! Sedona is very congested. Don't get me wrong, it is a gorgeous place worth visiting. Cottonwood is a little smaller and quieter but just as beautiful. Heading toward the trails from Vortex is a lot more relaxed. You truly feel like you have it all to yourself at times. The customer service can not be beat! Jeremiah was phenomenal. He went over all of the different trails and what to expect with each one. He thoroughly went over the laminated map with the highlighted trail that we chose. We were also given a GPS with charger. He explained everything we needed to know about operating the side by side. We were given a cooler with ice packs for our water/snacks. Goggles and helmets were also provided. The trail(s) he suggested were perfect! We stopped so many times for photo ops, that we ended up returning late. We were apologetic but he assured us with a warm smile that it was not a big deal since they were not completely booked out. He said he was just glad to see us return with huge smiles!😁 We explored a lot of Arizona and this was definitely one of the best highlights of our trip! Thank you Jeremiah and thank you Vortex, for an amazing experience!!!

Wow! What an experience for scenery and to feel like you're a part of the land. These people were great to work with. I don't know if you'll find a better more affordable place to go off road. It was worth driving another 20-30 minutes to get away from the crowd and "touristy" type of fun.

I decided to try out Vortex ATV Rental after reading some reviews of the companies in the area and looking at the areas they covered (west of Sedona). I hope I've spelled her name right - Chrissy - she met us in the parking lot when we arrived. She was helpful from the start and helped make the check-in process go as efficiently as possible so we could get started on our adventure. She walked my wife and I through a couple of trail options - based on what we said we'd like to see and she ended up providing us with a truly memorable experience! The variety of the trails and landscapes we encountered was way more than expected and enjoyable. We visited the Honanki Heritage Site, which was unknown to us before we went out and was worth the hike to check out. If anyone is looking to explore more of the area than to just see different red rock formations, I would suggest giving them visit. She provided us with a tablet that had the route's setup, along with a very informative map in case of tablet failure (which was good due to 'no service' now and then with our cell phones). She outlined the complete route on the map, with notable sights marked, and she listed key trail numbers and roadways in the order that we'd encounter them as a backup. Both options were used a lot throughout the four hours. Overall, it was a great experience to off-road in an ATV and see more of the area than we would have otherwise.

We decided last minute to do an atv day and weren’t able to find any available rentals in Sedona where we were staying. We called Jeremiah and he was very helpful and friendly and was able to get us a rental right away. Also great that they include a soft cooler and ice packs to keep drinks and snacks cool. He mapped out a path for us to include scenery and also some fun off roading. It was a beautiful ride and easy to navigate with the provided satellite gps. We were able to drive by a large herd of cows and even saw an antelope. At the end, we drove through downtown cottonwood which was an adorable town we didn’t even know about. We now want to come back and explore this area more! Would definitely recommend
