I took Guy's 4-hour online course "THE REAL BUSINESS OF VOICEOVER". I dreaded spending 4 hours in front of a screen, but it was so engaging and I learned a LOT. Guy gave truly useful input AND gave us exercises to do on the spot. The combination of teaching AND the chance to work on the concepts right there was so pedagogical and kept us engaged. There were times where he addressed questions we had, but he kept the pace of the class going so we stayed on track. So the course "breathed". It never felt rushed. Guy also gave us an opportunity towards the end for silent reflection and then to bounce ideas off with another person in a breakout. Again, VERY useful. I've been frustrated with stagnating in my VO work, and the course has offered me a fresh start and concrete steps to follow up on to make a difference. I now know what steps to do to figure out my branding - and then to re-do my website based on that. I now know how to effectively target prospective clients via LinkedIn...and much more. Huge thanks to Guy Michaels for this session.

Really Rude Customer Service. Really Rude Customer Service. Was excited to learn about voice acting, all I wanted was a call back to discuss options. Unfortunately had the misfortune of interacting with a person called 'Fiona' who wasn't very helpful and then accused me of being rude for no reason. Unnecessary and petty. I just hope she was having a bad day. Definitely turned me off from the service. Shame.

It seems our definition of "rude" differs somewhat from yours. We understand you were excited to learn about voice acting and simply wanted a call back to discuss options. However, as our support team explained via email (our standard method of initial contact for detailed inquiries), we weren't able to offer a free, personalized phone consultation.

While we couldn't offer that specific service for free, we did provide you with numerous options for 100% free resources – comprehensive training materials, advice, and guidance available on our website. These resources are designed to help aspiring voice actors get started without immediate financial investment. Clearly, these weren't "good enough" for your expectations of a free, immediate, and bespoke service.

We strive to be helpful and provide clear pathways for everyone, whether through our extensive free content or our paid coaching and demo production services. It's a shame our efforts to assist you within our operational framework were met with such negativity.

The voiceover industry suffers from everyone being a "the best in the biz". People start coaching when they've got a few years experience under their belt and there are a lot of charlatans out there. Guy is not one of these people, he really is incredibly knowledgeable. When recording my demos with Guy it was basically a coaching session too as the direction made me take reads in ways I'd never have thought of myself, and they're all the better for it. Great service, nice guy. Ha.
