Going through a divorce is not an easy time for anybody. There are lots of people who try and give you advice on such matters and horror stories about divorced lawyers being blood suckers and very expensive. Yes, it costs money, but how expensive it will be is down to you being upfront and fully open about your situation. For my personal situation, I had the team of Ceri Thomas and Julie Stott, who were simply the best. They listened to me intently, spoke to me with a very caring nature, gave me valuable advice, and contacted me very promptly via email with any new updates concerning my situation.
After the divorce had come to an end, I felt I was leaving two friends behind as I started my new direction. I appreciate all the work you did for me, Ceri & Julie.

I first Contacted VM back in 2021 due to family issues - I met with Ceri soon after my initial call with them who I have since worked closely with on my case. During the last few years the support, guidance and expert advice has been outstanding with Ceri, Julie and the rest of the team going above and beyond to support me in a professional level and also on a personal level I did not just feel like a client who was paying money out for a service I have seen and felt genuine emotion, empathy and compassion from Ceri and the team during my case. I can’t recommend this firm enough anyone who needs services of this nature should look no further you won’t just get what you pay for like most legal firms you will get genuine face to face support and real and helpful guidance throughout the process. I know from experience using another legal firm that not all firms are like VM in fact I have not come across another firm quite like it. The true professionalism from the team when it is needed is there but they will also treat you with respect and care and not just see you as another revenue stream like most other companies seem to do. Obviously I hope the future unfolds in a way which I no longer need to use the expertise from VM but if I do I know that they are one phone call away from instantaneous support and guidance no waiting lists no messing around just fast paced reactive responses by email and calls when called upon. I have been a Client of Mandy Rimmer's for some time now, through a very difficult child contact case. She is an amazing solicitor. I would not want to be represented in family court by anyone else. She has been a wonderfully calming influence during stressful times and is a highly confident and competent solicitor. Very prompt and responsive to communications which is always appreciated when juggling work and single parenting. The other members of the team are also lovely. The legal secretaries (Julie and Vicky) are truely an asset to the team and everyone is kind and friendly and take great pride in their work. I also really appreciated the input from Janet at my final hearing. She was so reassuring on a very long and difficult day and worked very well alongside the barrister. Their sales process is actually good but when you become a customer this is where it gets bad. All they care about is harvesting positive reviews. They will charge you for everything and deny promises they made. I was told my Child Arrangement matter would take 3 months, it's been over 6 months now. Every little action they charge you money for it and don't give a stuff about client care only to run the bill as much as possible. I even had phone calls from them that I didn't expect they were charging me for. Avoid at all cost
