How to Professionally sell a Sailboat
Steve is a very positive thinker always driving forward to get our Sailboat viewed to attract a buyer and bring home the sale closure. At the same time he was realistic offering sound advice and guidance at every step of the process. As our sale moved towards closure (buyer survey, sail test) he was transparent and concise in managing the buyer/seller interactions. Last, the closing transactions documents, filings, money transfers where handled with care, attention to details so, there was very little stress for us as sellers.

Working with Steve was a pleasure. His knowledge, professionalism and clear understanding of the boating industry helped me sell my boat in a few months when the average sale was much longer, that in addition the Caribbean was in the hurricane season when boats sit and wait to be sold 6 months later. By far the best company to list your boat with. If you talk to Steve you’ll understand.

He went above and beyond from traveling to places, To scheduling surveys, to making sure surveys were executed properly. He was always available for any questions that arose. Cannot say enough about Steve Varrow and the experience of purchasing a boat with him involved. I was looking for a catamaran and trying to muddle my way through the maze and confusion of first time boat buyer.
Best thing ever happened is I ran into Steve in the Virgin Islands while boat shopping. Found the boat I wanted and Steve went to work..!! His knowledge and expertise are truly over the top, this guy is not just a “yacht broker” he is truly a sailor, captain and go to guy for anything marine. This is someone you want working for you.
His honesty and sincerity added immensely to the experience. Because Steve just presented the facts and let the process look after itself. No pushy tactics or “we will worry about that later” attitude. Through all the hurdles and confusion it was great to have him onside to take a calm approach to getting through it all. If he didn’t have the answer at his fingertips he said that, and found someone who did have the answer in short order.
His assistance before, during and yes even after the sale is fantastic to say the least. As I said not your average salesman / broker this man is an asset when it comes to boat sales.

I would highly recommend Steve when considering buying or selling a yacht. I used him to purchase a catamaran in Guatemala. Steve went out of his way to make sure the sale happened, which was at times quite challenging. Steve has a wealth of knowledge, not just in brokering but also in all ascpets of boat ownership.
