New tarmac driveway with blockwork edging (RH19) Very pleased with the service and completed project. Alan was very knowledgeable and quietly confident in what his teams could achieve. Each member of the team was friendly and communicative and took time to listen to our requirements. The team completely removed the old tarmac and concrete driveway and rebuilt with correct depths, levels, soakaway and grilled gulley. They worked all week including Saturday to ensure completion during half-term. After the installation, I queried the finishing of one corner which was not how I imagined it. It was modified 2 days later without any drama.

New Marshalls Porcelain patio (RH13) A new patio installed on 14/11/22 by Vintage Driveways. They did not keep to manufacturer’s guidelines and the installation is now causing problems. Many slabs sound hollow underneath. Heavy rain during installation caused much of the sharp sand/cement mortar mix to weaken and wash away at row ends and no tarpaulin used to cover slabs. The pointing started lifting and is now much worse. Slabs trod on immediately after laying. Inspected by Vintage 23rd Feb. 2023 but despite several emails and telephone calls since then the company have not responded. I would certainly not recommend this company.

From disaster to pride (RH16) Our front garden and drive were a nightmare - overgrown hedge, grass, crumbling wall and cracked tarmac. The vintage driveways team arrived, worked tirelessly, and turned our disaster into nothing short of a fabulous resin driveway, with wall and railings. We have had so many compliments, and even longstanding friends almost miss our house as it looks so amazingly fabulous. We couldn’t be happier, the team worked so hard, were courteous and kind and everything happened when it should. It really felt like they were as keen that we were happy as we were. They took pride in their work.

New driveway (RH19) Very professional from start to finish and everyone we had contact with were professional and courteous. Amazingly hard workers who tackled even the odd issue with the minimal of fuss. I have no hesitation in recommending this company.

New block paving driveway (RH12) The company came out for a pre-site visit with different makes and colours of cobbled paving so that we could see the style that suited our house. As they had a good team they were able to vary the number of men on site, which enabled the work to be carried out quickly and efficiently. They kept to specified hours, consulted us on decisions while the work was being undertaken and were flexible when we asked for some minor alterations. We were very satisfied with the finished driveway.

Resin Bound Driveway (RH10) We had used Vintage Driveways at our previous home to install a brick driveway and were very pleased with the work, so decided to have Alan quote for a resin bound driveway for our current home. From start to finish communication was very good. All of the team were excellent, kept us informed and listened to our requirements. The workmanship is exceptional and we are extremely pleased with the results.

New replacement back door step and Front driveway repair (RH12) You never know what you will get when you hire a company but this was soon dispelled when we engaged Vintage. From initial quotation with Alan to completion by the site team (Chris, Rob and Bobby) we were provided with solid advice into what we were trying to achieve. Good communications during the work so we always knew what was happening.The site team were very professional who knew what they were doing but also polite, friendly, prompt and hard working in extreme wet conditions. The site was left clean and tidy each day. We would definitely use Vintage Driveway for any future projects

Existing driveway widened (RH10) From the initial quote right through to the work being completed it was a pleasure to deal with Alan and all his staff: the price was competitive; Alan gave expert advice on the various options available; the job was started earlier than we’d hoped; the guys who carried out the work were knowledgeable, polite, professional, always on time, friendly and tidy; full consideration was given to our neighbours‘ access needs whilst the work was being done; all round a great experience. The end result looks fantastic and has improved the appearance of our house. I would definitely recommend them.

New patio, side and front of house pathways (RH19) The whole process was seamless from obtaining the quote, finding the appropriate slabs and the work commencing. Excellent value for money . The crew were professional always punctual extremely courteous and tidy. An all round excellent experience and extremely satisfied with the final product, I would recommend this company without reservation.

New driveway and front steps (RH19) I highly recommend Vintage Driveways. Excellent workmanship, courteous, tidy and nothing was too much trouble. Other companies could learn from these guys how to be professional at all times. Can't fault them. Alan and Neil - brilliant.

Very Pleased (RH19) They were not the cheapest quote, but it was competitive and the quote was comprehensive and looked professional. The men turned up on the agreed day and worked every weekday until the job was finished and were always polite and friendly. The finished job looks very good.

Replace driveway, remove flower beds build new walls (RH19) From the initial visit and quote nothing was too much trouble for these guys. I had a rough idea of what I wanted but the input from Alan helped me decide fully. The job was started ahead of the planned time and was finished promptly too. The guys that carried out the work were very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, curious and extremely clean and tidy. It's always a massive gamble picking a company to carry out any kind of building work but we couldn't be more happy with Vintage driveways. The finished project looks great. I would honestly recommend them 100%.
