I have been suffering with back and nerve pain extending from my low back across my hips and down my legs. I had a MRI in February showing severe soft tissue stenosis and multiple bulging disc.
With surgery looming in my future I was depressed, and in excruciating pain finding it extremely difficult to walk or just be comfortable in bed or a chair.
Dr. Moore in Dayton suggested he felt he could help me. He took X-rays and my spine looked like a train derailment to me.
He began working on me and was making progress . I had regular, calculated adjustments , decompression treatments and was able to start putting weight on my right leg. (I came to him on a walker ) He was definitely getting me back on track.
I was scared when Dr Moore told me that he was going to have to take a break and going to get his trusted friend to take over my care. Dr. Loher has been coming to care for his patients, including me. His treatments are really identical to Dr Moore’s as Dr Loher had told me he learned from Dr Moore. They both practice Gonstead method of Chiropractic . The Gold Standard of Chiropractic. I’ve been able to continue to get better. As Dr. Loher began to see me regularly for adjustments , he suggested to me that he would like to try Laser Therapy and that it would help with the healing process. I told him I would try it. The very first treatment was absolutely amazing. It felt so good and took a few minutes. I told Dr Loher I really felt better. After several treatments of the laser treatment I realized it has reduced my pain levels significantly. I would recommend this treatment to anyone who is suffering from an injury. I believe it helps promote a healing process in your body. I can’t say enough about how good it feels and the success of having it done. Thank you Dr Loher for your help with my journey of healing and literally getting me back on my two feet with your continued care. I do take care not to injure myself and do look forward to visits for continued care.. That Laser Treatment is absolutely amazing , I’m a huge fan❣️.

He recommended infrared laser therapy, and after just the first session, I noticed a subtle shift—the pain began to recede.

Dr. Loher at Vida Chiropractic is fantastic. Been going to him for a few years now. Great guy, and effective chiropractor. For problems that I seem to have, chiropractic care has been helpful in maintaining function in my back and limbs. Dr. Loher practices the Gonstead Technique, which uses measurable indications to locate problems and then he focuses on returning mobility to those areas. It may take a couple of extra moments to take measurements and assess mobility, but the results are better, too. Having used other chiropractors in the area, I find the Gonstead method rare (in the Chattanooga area) and more effective than other methods. Other chiropractors I visited used techniques that were not as directed and made adjustments that did not seem to address the problems as well, nor did the adjustments made last as long. Another thing important to me is that he is on time when you book an appointment, less time waiting at a doctor's office is great. Would definitely recommend him.

After severe episode of numbness, and sharp pain in my arm sent me to the ER to no avail I decided to go to Vida Chiropractic. ER performed lots of tests with no results for symptom relief. Dr. Loher immediately identified the cervical issues causing the pain and dizziness. I’m still amazed at the relief after my very first session! I continue to go every week right now to increase my mobility and strength. Moving forward I do plan to continue treatments at least once a month or as recommended by Dr Loher. He is passionate about what he does, qualified beyond chiropractic services and doesn’t talk down to you. It’s amazing how getting adjusted can change your life for the better especially for all of us over 50. Definitely 5 stars!! Don’t wait just do it!!

My daughter has TMJ. She had some dental work done, which aggravated her TMJ and her jaw ended up locking up. Our dental office recommended taking her in to see Dr. Terry. I have always been skeptical about chiropractic medicine, that all changed here. I've lived my entire life in pain, being told it was normal and that everyone hurts and to suck it up. Turns out.. you don't have to live like that. After only a handful of sessions I have nearly 0 pain in my back. I work on concrete floors walking over 15 miles a day carrying heavy equipment and crawling around. I have never experienced life like this before, I'm energetic and happier. Like a heavy weight was lifted off my mental state from constantly being in pain. I truly can't thank the Dr enough for this life changing experience and new breath of life he has given me. I enthusiastically recommend him to anyone who might be experiencing the life I lived before. Because you don't have to.

I came in for neck and back pain, and the experience was great from start to finish. The chiropractor was professional, explained everything clearly, and made me feel comfortable throughout the session. I noticed a big difference afterward and left feeling much better. Dr. Terry Loher is very professional and knows his stuff! I came in with IT band pain due to a compressed nerve. Within 10 minutes, my nerve pain had subsided and I was able to get back on my feet, exercise, etc. in ways I hadn't been able to in weeks. Highly recommend visiting him if you're having any type of joint or nerve pain!
