I have been working with this law firm for the past 7 years to increase my VA disability benefits. I started this journey on my own and the VA as many of you know made it very difficult for me. Then I hired Cameron firm and was assigned Megan Ellis. I can’t say enough about Megan. She helped me file everything and assisted with appeals as well as answering all my questions along the way. Long story short I ended up at 100% and I couldn’t have done any of it without Megan and her team. I highly recommend them to any veteran out there struggling to get what they deserve.

James, we are thrilled to hear your praise for Megan Ellis. As our Supervising Attorney, Megan is a cornerstone of this firm, and your success story is a perfect example of why she is one of the most respected advocates in the field of veterans' law.

When you were assigned to Megan, you weren't just getting a lawyer; you were getting a high-level appellate strategist with a remarkable track record:

Elite Legal Pedigree: A 2014 graduate of Boston College Law School, Megan brought a level of academic and legal excellence to our firm that is second to none.

A Proven Track Record of Millions: Throughout her career, Megan has helped hundreds of veterans obtain millions of dollars in benefits. She doesn't just file paperwork; she changes lives.

Expertise at the Highest Levels: Megan’s experience isn't limited to local regional offices. She has successfully litigated cases before the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims (CAVC) and the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals.

A Champion of Critical Issues: Whether it is complex Agent Orange exposure, mental health disabilities, or unemployability (TDIU) claims, Megan has the deep institutional knowledge to win. In fact, her work as co-counsel on landmark cases like Harper v. Wilkie and Lyles v. Shulkin has helped shape the very laws that protect veterans today.

Megan's ability to answer every question and handle complex appeals with such care is what makes her a leader here. We are so proud that she and her team could secure the 100% rating you earned through your service.

Thank you for your service, James, and thank you for recommending us to your fellow veterans. It was a privilege to fight alongside you!

Thank you for the quick response and give me 100% I’ll give you firm 100% five stars and all of the above thank you Miss Colleen, Miss Kelly thank you
Reply from VA Disability Attorney - Cameron Firm, PC 2025.12.19
Very impressive, Ronald. It is no surprise to us that Colleen Kelly made such a profound impact on your case. Colleen isn't just a dedicated professional; she is a four-year veteran of the United States Marine Corps. That "Semper Fidelis" spirit is exactly what she brings to every claim she handles.

Colleen’s success in securing your benefits is built on a foundation of elite experience:

Direct Service Knowledge: Before joining our firm, Colleen served as a Veterans Service Officer (VSO) for six years. This gave her an "insider's" understanding of the system that is incredibly rare and highly effective.

Specialist in Complex Cases: Colleen thrives where cases are most difficult. She specializes in providing the individualized attention required for sensitive and complex claims, including PTSD, Military Sexual Trauma (MST), and Agent Orange exposure.

Master of the Regulations: Her extensive knowledge of the Federal Rules and Regulations regarding disability compensation is what allows her to cut through the red tape and find the path to "Yes" when the VA has previously said "No."

Colleen’s dedication to helping veterans and their families is more than just a job—it’s her life’s work. We are honored to have her on our front lines fighting for veterans like you.

Thank you for your service and for trusting Cameron Firm, PC with your journey. We are thrilled you finally have the 100% rating you deserve!

This experience with Miss Colleen Kelly has been one of the most calm and successful business transactions that I have ever endured. The outcome was a blessing and an absolute miracle and without her continuous efforts and dedication to guide and support; this would not had happened. Her professional conduct and knowledge was beyond anything you could have ever imagined. She is and will always be a Marine. Thank you Miss Colleen Kelly and the Cameron Firm,PC. Have a Merry Christmas to all and may God Bless each and everyone of you!!

This is an incredibly touching review, Tommy. To hear a veteran describe a VA appeal—a process usually defined by stress and frustration—as "calm" is perhaps the highest compliment our firm can receive. Thank you so much for your heartfelt words and for sharing your success story. We are overjoyed that the outcome was such a blessing for you; calling it an "absolute miracle" is a testament to the life-changing impact of securing the benefits you earned. It is no surprise that Colleen Kelly was the one to guide you to this victory. Your description of her reflects exactly why she is such a vital leader at our firm. Once a Marine, Always a Marine! You hit the nail on the head—Colleen is a four-year veteran of the United States Marine Corps. That sense of mission, "continuous effort," and "dedication" isn't just professional conduct; it is part of her DNA. She fights for her fellow veterans with the same tenacity she learned in the Corps. We are so proud of Colleen and the team for supporting you through this journey. Thank you for your service and for your kind blessings. Merry Christmas to you and your family, and may God bless you as well!

I filed my first serious VA claim on February 6, 2019, when I was rated at 20%. That claim was decided on May 1, 2019, and I was awarded an additional 20%, bringing me to 40%. The very next day, May 2, 2019, I hired Jacqueline McCormack, one day after what I felt was a lowball VA decision. She immediately filed a Higher-Level Review on my behalf. About four months later, that claim was decided, and my rating increased to 60%. Two months after that, I was awarded 70% due to sciatic nerve conditions in both legs. The following year (2020), I reached 80% when both knees were service-connected. The next year, I was granted 50% for sinusitis and 10% for rhinitis, bringing me to 90%. One year later, I received 10% for flat feet and 50% for plantar fasciitis secondary to flat feet, which finally put me over the top at 100%. My 100% rating was backdated to February 16, 2019, just 10 days after my original qualifying claim, which allowed me to hire Ms. McCormack. She has been absolutely amazing in assisting me with my VA claims. She accomplished everything I asked for, and then some. May God continue to shine on her. Keep pushing, Ms. McCormack, thank you for everything!

This is an exceptional breakdown of a long-term strategic victory. To see a claim move systematically from 40% to 100%—with a backdate almost to the very beginning—is a masterclass in VA appellate strategy. Thank you for sharing the detailed "play-by-play" of your journey. Your story is a perfect example of why veterans should never settle for a "lowball" decision. By hiring Jacqueline McCormack just 24 hours after your 40% rating, you took control of your future, and the results speak for themselves. Jacqueline is a brilliant advocate, and your success highlights the exact reason she is such an asset to our clients: Filing a Higher-Level Review (HLR) immediately after a low decision is a bold move that requires a deep understanding of the law. Jacqueline’s ability to jump from 40% to 60% in just four months set the tone for the rest of your case. Your path from 60% to 100%—connecting sciatica, knees, sinusitis, and eventually the complex connection between flat feet and plantar fasciitis—shows Jacqueline’s expertise in secondary service connections. She knows how to link disabilities that the VA often tries to keep separate. Perhaps the most impressive part of your story is the effective date. Getting that 100% rating backdated to February 2019 ensured you received every penny of the benefits you were owed from the moment you started this fight. Jacqueline truly "accomplished everything and then some," and we are so proud to have her on our team. Thank you for your service, your incredible persistence, and your kind prayers for her continued success.

Cameron Law Firm did an excellent job representing me with the VA. They navigated the VA process to obtain benefits as a result of disabilities incurred during my military service. I highly recommend them to any veteran that has disabilities and needs assistance with the VA.
Reply from VA Disability Attorney - Cameron Firm, PC 2025.12.19
Outstanding, Bill. We take great pride in hearing that we successfully guided you through the VA process. We understand that for many veterans, the challenge isn't just proving a disability exists—it’s navigating the mountain of procedural hurdles required to show those disabilities were incurred during military service.

The VA’s "map" is rarely a straight line. Our goal is always to act as the compass and the advocate, ensuring that every piece of evidence is properly placed and every legal avenue is explored. Hearing that you are "highly pleased" with the outcome is motivating, and why we specialize in this difficult area of law.

Your recommendation is incredibly meaningful. It tells other veterans who are currently struggling with the VA that they don’t have to fight this battle alone.

Congratulations on achieving your 100% rating and receiving your retro pay! There is no greater professional satisfaction for our team than seeing a veteran finally receive the full compensation they earned through their service. Thank you for your high recommendation and for trusting us with your claim. We know that reaching the 100% mark is life-changing, but securing that retro pay is equally vital. It represents the VA finally acknowledging that you should have been supported all along. We are also very pleased to hear that you valued our communication. We strive to bridge the gap between the veteran and the "black hole" of the VA bureaucracy, ensuring you always know exactly where your case stands. Vets Helping Vets! Welcome to the family. When you recommend us to your "Vet friends," you are doing more than just sharing a business name—you are giving hope to others who might be struggling with a denial or a low rating. Peer-to-peer trust is the most powerful tool we have in the veteran community. Thank you for your service, your trust, and for helping us reach more of our brothers and sisters in arms.

I can’t say enough great things about Cameron Firm, PC. When I first contacted them, I was stuck at 20% VA disability and felt completely overwhelmed by the process. Their team took the time to understand my case, explain every step clearly, and build a strong, well-documented claim on my behalf. Thanks to their professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine commitment to helping veterans, my disability rating was increased to 60%. The difference this has made in my life is huge. What stood out most was how responsive and supportive they were throughout the entire process. I never felt like just another case—they treated me with respect and kept me informed at every stage. If you’re a veteran struggling with the VA claims process, I highly recommend Cameron Firm, PC. Their expertise truly makes all the difference.
Reply from VA Disability Attorney - Cameron Firm, PC 2025.12.19
Hi, Janice. It is incredibly rewarding to hear how an increase from 20% to 60% has made such a "huge difference" in your life. As the founder of Cameron Firm, PC, stories like yours are exactly why we opened our doors. Thank you for your heartfelt recommendation and for describing your experience with our team so clearly. Being "stuck" at a 20% rating is a common and frustrating reality for many veterans. It is a level that acknowledges service but often fails to provide the true support needed for long-term stability.

I am particularly proud that you highlighted our attention to detail and responsiveness. We know that the VA process can make a person feel like "just another case number" in a vast machine. Our goal is to flip that script by treating every veteran with the respect they earned and ensuring they are never left wondering where their claim stands.

Your success from 20% to 60% is a testament to what happens when we combine your service history with our legal expertise. By building a well-documented claim, we take the guesswork away from the VA and force them to look at the clinical and legal reality of your disabilities.

Thank you for trusting us to be your advocates. Your recommendation is the best way to help other "overwhelmed" veterans realize they don't have to fight this battle alone.

They make it happen, after trying on my own for many many years they achieved the pinnacle of all the VA ratings real pronto. I wish that I could express more than a 5 star review. I highly recommend the Cameron law firm . Make it happen for you !
Reply from VA Disability Attorney - Cameron Firm, PC 2025.12.18
Thank you, Jesse, for your incredible words and for wishing you could give us more than five stars! Hearing that we were able to help you achieve the "pinnacle of all VA ratings" after you spent many, many years fighting the system on your own is exactly why we do this work.

Your personal endorsement holds a level of trust and authenticity that no advertisement could ever replicate.. Coming from a veteran with direct, personal experience in the "solo fight" against the VA, your voice acts as a beacon for others who are currently exhausted and ready to give up. When you tell your fellow veterans to "make it happen for you," you aren't just giving a review—you are giving them hope that their long struggle can finally come to an end.

We are thrilled that we could move your case along "real pronto" once we took the reins. It is an honor to have been the team that finally crossed the finish line with you.

Today, I got a call from Melinda Gobin, My Case Manager, to tell me that the VA made a decision to increase my disability to 100%. She is an outstanding Case Manager, always informed me how my case was going! I sincerely recommend her to handle your VA case. My case went like this...I filed through DAV last March 29. 2024 and the VA gave me a 30% total disability in December 2024.The DAV then told me that it was a good outcome however a fellow Veteran was there at that time and heard what the DAV said. He then approached me and told me to call Cameron Firm, PC. I called them that day and they just asked me to email them my personal information and that was it.They took care of the rest! After that, I went to a couple C&P Exams. One year after I got my 100%. Thank you, Melinda.

I got referred to the Cameron Firm from Woods and Woods a year and a half ago. Maybe it was longer? I was thinking I've been turned down for a couple things already by the VA and now I'm passed off. Turns out I was right where I should be. Right from the start it was evident that they knew what they were doing. It was going to be systematic in the approach. Yes we did have rejections from the VA but these guys never faltered. They pushed for upper level reviews, it took time but in the end it was clear their plan of attack was working. They must have looked into my records and statements and found a few more items to clam. All in all I have to hand it to them. I could not have done this by myself. I just received 100% T & P disability with the back pay from 2023. I can't thank them enough.

Thank you deeply, Jack, for taking the time to share your incredible story, and for confirming that even when the process feels drawn out, perseverance and strategy pay off.

Your feelings of frustration after initial VA denials are completely understandable—and they are precisely what drives our commitment. We appreciate that you recognized our systematic approach right from the start. Successfully appealing complex VA denials, especially those requiring upper-level reviews, is often not a quick or simple process, but it demands a relentless, well-executed plan.

We are advocates who refuse to falter, even when the VA issues rejections. Our team is dedicated to thoroughly examining your entire service record and medical history—often finding additional service-connected items that were overlooked—to build the strongest possible case.

Achieving the 100% T&P disability rating and securing the substantial back pay from 2023 is a monumental win and the outcome you truly deserved. This testimonial serves as a powerful reminder to other veterans that while the fight may take time, having experienced, resilient advocates is essential.

We are profoundly grateful for your trust.
