I had an ex-boyfriend file a bogus application for a protective order on me out of spite. After another lawyer put me at risk of a criminal charge due to their negligence and horrible advice, I chose to retain Anna. She immediately jumped on the case to correct the situation, and it was pulled out of court when she called his bluff. I got a huge chunk of my retainer back, while the original law firm hit me with a $4,000 bill over the retainer. They may not have the cheapest retainer but they WILL NOT nickel and dime you. She has brought peace to my life and I will send anyone I know their way!! So grateful to Anna and the team!

I decided to hire the firm to modify my custody order after speaking with Hailey Klingbeil. She was straightforward, didn't overpromise, and clearly understood both the legal and practical sides of co-parenting. Hailey and Amanda handled my case throughout, and their communication stayed timely and clear the whole time. We got a new agreed order with a clear week-on/week-off schedule, required AppClose, and better structure around school and medical issues. It’s made co-parenting less chaotic and let me focus more on being a dad instead of constantly managing conflict. I'm very happy with both Hailey and Amanda's professionalism throughout the process.

I was very fortunate to have Alex on my side the whole team was very helpful. Every lawyer I went to was intimidated by Johnson county except for Alex. Even when they came at me with some outrageous offers she would tell me to let her work and I would be okay. Sure enough I was able to keep my freedom and she was able to take prison time off the table. My kids are so thankful for her and so am I! I usually do not write reviews. I had been in the divorce process for 10 months. The divorce was very high conflict and the attorney I had was not very good. After a failed mediation, at that point I retained Varghese. Michael Livens. Period. Michael was able to take this case and get the job finished. He does what he says he will do. He will tolerate no games by the other party. He also takes the time to not only listen to you, but give honest practical advice. From somebody that has used a lot of attorneys in different arenas, I can say Michael knows the law very well, is a great tactician and negotiator. I do not impress easily. With Michael, I was impressed. I cannot recommend him enough. He was truly a miracle worker in this case. I was able to come out of this divorce ok thanks to him. If you need a fighter to stand up and fight for you, he's your guy. Michael, on behalf of me and my daughter, thank you for fighting for us and being willing to stand up and say that's enough. I will always be in your debt.

We chose V&S to represent my son, Tiffany Burke had both charges for him dismissed. When we had called other attorneys they told us even without evidence my son could face felony charges for a crime he did not commit. Tiffany was a God send to our family. My son is now able to start his life over, with no felony charges which allows him to now live a stress free life, with open opportunities to grow. We can’t thank them enough. Alex was a tremendous help to my life honestly! I was hit with a dui back in march. Was i drinking? Yes but ended up in danger at the house I was in and took myself and another individual to the police asking for help. Instead of the police taking care of our needs they instead decided to arrest me for dui. I really didn’t know where to even begin once i got out. I did my research on good firms to help me and varghese was ranked number 1 by ChatGPT so i had my family help me pitch in money to afford them. Fast forward to now, after 6 months of having to go to court, my case is officially dismissed!
