Communication is terrible between Hailey and Amanda. I didn’t feel heard and always left in the dark. Throughout the divorce process I felt things were put on the back burner. It would take 2-3 weeks till they responded on the portal. I’m not sure if they’re very behind but I was always asking for updates. When the divorce was finalized I didn’t hear about it till days later. You would think I would know that day. I call and the receptionist leaves them a message. I still haven’t heard back. I need paperwork that was submitted from Amanda according to my invoice from April. The child support office says they haven’t received anything. Still waiting to hear back from them….

I had a great experience working with Hailey and Amanda throughout my family law case. They were both very pleasant, approachable, and easy to work with during a process that could have felt overwhelming. Where to start... I hired this firm for a family case believing they could help me create boundaries for my ex spouse regarding our visitation and access schedule. Not only were important things missed regarding visitation, fees kept coming which were overpriced for the actual work that was being done on my case. My attorney was younger and she sold me believing she would be able to get me a fair settlement with my very abusive ex spouse. Instead, she hired a manipulative mediator (he was invasive and verbally forceful) while she sat back on the sidelines acting like it was normal. She failed to prepare me for mediation and as a result, I was forced to settle for an unfavorable agreement . She also insinuated going to trial would cost more money almost as if she was not interested in doing so. I'm glad we did not go to trial because I know she would've failed to represent my case. The funny thing is, before hiring this firm, I shared my bad experience with my divorce attorney and honestly, at least my divorce attorney at least had more grit than my attorney with Varghese Summerset. I would definitely not recommend VS to anyone looking for competent family law attorney. It was a costly $10k + that I truly regret spending at this firm. Are all family law attorneys this bad?
I had a really good experience working with Cassidy and Kate on my divorce case. My case had no kids involved, and they helped me through the whole process and made things a lot easier than I expected. The outcome turned out great and I appreciate everything they did for me.
They were always available to answer questions, listen to my concerns, and explain things when I didn’t understand something. I never felt ignored or rushed. They definitely mean business and stay on top of everything. I’m thankful for their help and would recommend them to anyone going through a divorce.

After discovering my wife's sordid love affairs, I was devastated. I tried to save the marriage but she refused and she sued for basically all the money and all the children, child support, and alimony. It was a devastating time for me but Michael and Jeremy guided me through the process to an acceptable and favorable outcome. I was referred to Varghese and Summersett, by a friend who was familiar with the firm, to resolve a custody issue with my daughter. I was attempting to limit the visitation that her biological mother had due to abuse that had taken place at her residence. I was immediately contacted by Michael Livens and Jeromy Kitchen who have been absolutely top notch from the very beginning. I was able to easily describe my situation and get clear and concise advice and opinions on what route would be best to take in my situation. Throughout the entire process they were both able to explain the situations and paperwork to me in plain English, allowing me to make informed and educated decisions. Even when I was worked up and emotional, Michael was able to guide me towards decisions that would benefit me in the long run. I don't think I would have gotten the outcome that I got without their guidance. Michael was able to, not only get the child support that I had been paying for 15 years dropped but also get me awarded child support through the end of our custody agreement. During the last 15 months I never once felt out of the loop, never felt that I was being misled or uninformed.
