Charles is an excellent tennis coach—very knowledgeable, experienced, and professional. He’s helped improve my game significantly and has been great at helping me refine skills I’ve struggled with. He’s also wonderful with my son, helping him build a strong foundation starting with hand-eye coordination. Highly recommend! 🎾

Excellent coaching staff and a lot of fun. Kids were enrolled as absolute newcomers to the sport and made so much progress even in one semester and then begged to be enrolled again. We attended fall lessons and later in the season lots of kids didn’t show up so my kids got so much 1:1 coaching. Really fun way to stay active (and dry) in the colder months especially. 10/10 recommend. Bonus is we got very thoughtful report cards at the end of the term with comprehensive personalized feedback from their coaches.

Charles is a highly skilled tennis player and professional coach. He has an incredible ability to see the subtle things that students need to change for improvement. Charles and his team of coaches make tennis fun with exciting warm up games, competitive rallies and lots of opportunities to hit the ball. I’ve had a great experience with Valley Tennis Academy! I started adult group lessons in 2024 with none to very little knowledge about the sport and have learnt so much in the short amount of time I’ve been playing! Each lesson is thoughtfully tailored to the groups level and all the coaches assess and work with each player to help better their game! On top of this, the team at valley tennis academy work hard to make this a fun learning environment!! I highly recommend!

We’ve had a fantastic experience with Valley Tennis Academy in Abbotsford! Our daughter takes both group classes and private lessons here, and she absolutely loves it. Coach Charles and Coach Anna are outstanding — they’re not only skilled and knowledgeable, but also incredibly encouraging and fun. It’s clear they care about each student’s development, and their coaching style has really sparked our daughter’s passion for the game. The facilities are great — well-maintained hard courts and a solid bubble structure that makes year-round play possible, rain or shine. My daughters take lessons at Valley Tennis Academy with Coach Charles, and we couldn’t be happier. He has an incredible way of connecting with the kids. He’s patient, positive, and really knows how to bring out their best. You can tell he loves what he does, and it shows in how much our girls have improved and how excited they are to go to class each week. He makes the sessions fun but still focused, and the progress we’ve seen in their technique and confidence has been amazing. Coach Charles is a real gem. Highly recommend!

I have loved each and every tennis lesson I have been apart of since I started in November 2024💚🎾. Its been so fun and exciting to learn a new sport has a adult. Charles is a great instructor who makes tennis fun but keeps us on track for learning new techniques each lesson. In only a few months I have progressed way further than I thought I would. I have a long way to go but I'm glad I have Charles guiding me along the way. My experience with all tennis staff has been very friendly and positive.
