Olivier was a phenomenal host. His love & knowledge for his city run deep & were so tangible. We got to walk around multiple neighborhoods & gain the context of what makes Marseille so resilient & unique. From getting to splay a map outside of the port on a windy day & see the landscape from a wide view to popping in & out of museums, markets, and more - Olivier really gave us so much range in a few hours. 💌 Cannot recommend this enough. Bring your walking shoes, sunnies, water & a card or some euros to buy ice cream, soap, or goodies along the way! xx

Olivier’s walk is a unique experience. Part hike, part walk, unique places that a tourist would not be aware of. The tour was full of history and beautiful sights. He shared his love for Marseille and all of its people. Olivier is engaging throughout. The walk took pretty close to 4 hours. Be prepared to walk up and down but you’ll be rewarded with outstanding gorgeous views and an incite as to how this city started and grew into the spectacular mosaic of a diverse, small village feel in a sprawling city.

Olivier was great host and I learned a lot about the history of Marseille and its current challenges. We got to see the old port, the Catalan beach, and we hiked up to the Notre Dame de la Garde church which lies on top of a hill. Great panoramic views combine with Olivier’s storytelling is a must if you have limited time in Marseille. Note: this is going to be a long hike about 3 -3.5 hours. I recommend anyone booking this tour to have attire appropriate for hiking as well as sunscreen and water. Merci beaucoup Ruben (Urbaniste aussi)
This was our second time booking a tour with Olivier. Having previously enjoyed one of his public walks, we chose a private tour this time, which allowed him to adapt the itinerary perfectly to our group's specific needs and pace.
Olivier’s background as an urban planner brings a distinct perspective to the walk. Rather than just pointing out tourist sights, he offers genuine insights into the history, architecture, and social fabric of Marseille. He managed to keep our group thoroughly engaged throughout the morning.
The route itself (Mer et Sommet) took us well off the beaten track through lesser-known neighborhoods, hidden paths, and excellent vantage points we wouldn't have found independently. For anyone looking to understand the fabric and diversity of Marseille beyond the usual stereotypes. I highly recommend an urban hike with Olivier!

Leider konnten wir die Tour wegen eines Unfalls von Olivier nicht besuchen. Er hat uns frühzeitig informiert, war sehr hilfsbereit und hat uns seine Tipps trotzdem weitergegeben. Auch die Rückerstattung verlief unkompliziert und reibungslos. Wir wünschen ihm alles Gute und würden jederzeit wieder bei ihm buchen.

Moment très agréable en compagnie d’Olivier, qui nous a fait découvrir sa ville avec passion, au travers de chemins cachés et insolites. De superbes points de vue, enrichis par l’histoire de la ville, pour comprendre comment elle s’est construite et comment elle est organisée. Nous avons adoré l’écouter et avons appris énormément de choses sur Marseille, qui s’est offerte à nous sous un prisme inédit ! Je recommande chaudement cette visite ! La balade est tonique mais l’effort est parfaitement dosé, les 3h30 se sont écoulées en un claquement de doigt. Chouette expérience, merci encore Olivier 😊
