I cannot recommend Upstate Spine and Sport enough! This is truly a one-stop shop for all your health needs. I’ve had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Jolsen, who is incredible at equipping me with the right tools to address issues when they arise. His approach is educational, effective, and direct.
I have been seeing Dr. Gary ever since I became pregnant and she has helped me through my pregnancy and everything that entails afterwards. She has even helped with my baby. I have a physical job and she always relieves any issues I have.
I’ve also had amazing experiences with their acupuncturist and massage therapist.
It’s clear that everyone at Upstate Spine and Sport is dedicated to helping clients feel their absolute best. I trust them completely and am so thankful for the care they’ve provided to me and my family!

Dr Garey is incredible!! My initial visit was for a pinched nerve..it took a couple of visits and me doing my (homework) stretches and exercises…to feel a lot better..in my personal opinion you become family..that’s the way you’re treated..so do yourself a favor and book an appointment with Upstate Spine and Sport ask for Dr Garey, you won’t be disappointed!! So I am very happy with the results from the stem waves. I have been able to walk much easier and at 72, that is critical for me to feel safe from falling. I also got help with my ganglion cyst that is compromisimg my grip and numbness in my left hand. Kimmie was so helpful and thorough and made my appointment fun. I highly recommend this group and the stem waves may be expensive, but it works without surgery. Definitely a win win for me as I do not do surgery.
Dr. Jolson at Upstate Spine & Sport has really helped me with chronic low back issues after multiple surgeries, not just at the visit itself, but helping me better understand what is necessary to reach my goals. Dr. Jolson is incredibly knowledgeable, but his desire for you to reach your goals match your own - he truly cares!
