Tanner is awesome! Very experienced and knowledgeable. When I need a “ tweak” she knows exactly what I need and also gives me homework to try and keep me in sync. Tanner is great!!

(Long review, because I have lots of history with Upstate Sport and Spine, and Drs. Jolson and Finnen.)
Years ago, after seeing a couple orthopedic doctors and going through 6+ weeks of physical therapy, I was very discouraged and felt my diagnosis of degenerative disc disease and radiculopathy had left me permanently in pain. Then I visited Dr. Jolson and within a week, had major improvement. Within two weeks, the pain was literally improved by 75 percent. After just a few more weeks, I returned to normal activities and hiking and biking -- after six months of being laid up. When months later the sciatic pain returned and worsened, Dr. Jolson was wise enough to suggest I see an orthopedic doctor for an MRI, which found a bone spur growing into my spinal cord. I ended up needing spinal surgery to remove it, and Dr. Jolson's wise advice kept me from potential damage/complications.
I have had some meniscus damage and loss of cartilage in my knees, and after experiencing little relief from PT, traditional steroid injections, and PRP injections, Dr. Finnen recently introduced me to StemWave therapy, which has helped my knees more than anything else.
Also, I had developed a slipped disk in my lower back (a complication of my spinal surgery), and Dr. Finnen introduced me to a McKenzie Stretch which has helped SO much I have been able to avoid additional surgery.
So long review, but I cannot say enough about what skilled and caring practitioners Drs. Jolson and Finnen are, and I cannot not recommend Upstate Spine & Sport more highly!
