These guys, specifically Tony, was the best resource I could imagine when I ran into an issue with my access points. Patient, clear speaker and took all the time that I needed. This was a fantastic resource!!!

I've had the absolute best experience with the Unifi Nerds, and Tony in particular. I started consulting with Tony in March 2026, right after I put an offer on buying a house. I wanted a whole Unifi set up (Network & Protect), but had no first hand experience with Unifi before. Tony was very generous with his time over multiple calls and design sessions, until I finally pulled the trigger. The whole process was as seamless as one could ever expect from a professional services provider. Tony and his team came in and did a fabulous job on a Saturday installing all the hardware. He then was able to manage my network remotely as he fine tuned it to my liking. Throughout the process, Tony was incredibly responsive over email, at all hours of the day and night, and very thorough at answering all of my questions. I'm very satisfied with my 3 month-long experience with Unifi Nerds. These guys are top notch!

Tony was extremely knowledgeable in helping me set up my ubiquiti system that had been sitting unused and uninstalled for almost 3 years. The help was done remotely over Webex and FaceTime, it wasn’t a straightforward job and with his expertise we were able to get my system up and running despite numerous updates that were missing and needed to be tediously configured. I was worried about the cost and preferred to do everything remotely in attempts to save money and it worked out great at a fair cost. I would definitely use their services again.

I fortunately found the UniFi Nerds after a failed 2 hour session with a Ubiquiti chat agent that left me very confused. Tony at NY/FL Nerds was superb. He figured out the problem within 5 minutes, educated me about my new WiFi system, sent me specific information about an item I needed to order, and made a follow-up appointment to make sure I installed it correctly. He was knowledgeable, clear, and friendly. A great customer experience; very satisfied. Cheers

Tony from the NY/FL Nerds was incredibly helpful! He was knowledgeable and pleasant as he walked me through an involved setup. He was clear and direct in communicating step-by-step through the process and provided a ton of supporting materials. Anytime I had a question, he was great at providing the context necessary to understand what was happening. What a great experience!

They were fantastic! I had to transfer a Unifi system over with multiple hardware pieces that were left by the previous owner of my home. I called the Nerds on Monday, set up a conference call to discuss what was needed on Tuesday, and they came on Thursday and had the whole network up and running in a couple of hours. Wifi and network is great! Everything working well! Thank you so much Nerds!!

The NY/FL Nerds were very generous with their time in troubleshooting the problem by phone. When they realized that they needed to send a tech, one came out and scouted the situation and realized they needed a tall ladder, and then rescheduled for the next day. They only charged me for the actual service call, which successfully solved the problem. Everyone I dealt with was professional, helpful, courteous and reliable. I would definitely recommend them.

I highly recommend NY/FL Nerds. I needed my Unifi WiFI fine tuned and Tony and Sam did an outstanding job. I also needed some coaching with a NAS drive and my laptops. Nothing was to small and Tony did not leave until every question was answered. He also followed up in the week after to ensure that I was satsified.

My daughter bought a house with the unify system installed but she had no idea how to use it and the previous owner would not help. All the cameras actually needed to be reset and it was a physical process and she had no idea how to do it.NY/FL nerds came to the rescue and updated everything reset all of the cameras and offered to be available by text anytime she had any technical support issues. They were wonderful, fast and extremely knowledgeable. Tony answered all of my many many texts, asking questions about the system. He was extremely patient with me and very knowledgeable. He was great.

Tony made an incredibly frustrating house tech issue into a simple and easy repair. He and his team are super responsive and available. I will continue to call them for any issues I may have. I would recommend them without any reservation.

BEWARE!!!! I had a very negative experience with Nerd computer services. I was quoted a price of just over $400, but my final bill came to nearly $700. When I asked for clarification and requested a price list, they refused to provide one. The staff were rude, uncooperative, and evasive when I tried to resolve the issue. This lack of transparency and professionalism is unacceptable. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company to anyone. Beware.

We strongly disagree with this review. A written estimate of just over $400 was provided and approved prior to service. While on site, you requested additional work beyond the original scope, which extended the time and increased the cost. A detailed invoice reflecting both the approved estimate and the additional work was then provided and approved as well.

At no point were we evasive. We replied to every message you sent and even provided a copy of the initial phone conversation so you could see exactly what was discussed to generate the estimate, compared to the work ultimately requested and completed.

We stand by our transparency and professionalism. Our estimates and invoices clearly outline how billing is calculated, and we will continue to provide clear documentation and communication for all of our clients.

Was sitting in the room with my brother when you hung up on him disrespectfully. Go ahead and post the recording. We didn’t hang up on you 🙄 Update: Anyone can check my previous reviews and see that they’re not all the same so I’m not sure what you’re trying to get at. All of my reviews are honest and detail my concerns I’ve had with other businesses , if any. Looking through my reviews and bringing up family members is irrelevant to the issue we’ve had with your business. The disrespectful and defensive replies do not reflect well on your business. If you believe that you didn’t hang up on us there is a way to communicate that without being rude. Here let me help you : “Hi [customer], We can assure you that we did not end the call. There must of been an issue with the connection. If you require further assistance, please feel free to contact us. We would be happy to assist.” See, not hard to just be respectful. 🤷‍♀️ Claiming that we hung up on you when we didn’t and threatening to post a recording of our phone call (which wouldn’t do anything but maybe prove that we didn’t hang up on you lol) is weird behavior.

I deleted my review before so I can say this again, you don’t get to be disrespectful, and then when we leave an honest review for this, with no Ill will, just to voice our feeling of being disrespected after you hung up and you guys come after me and Shelly for something like this when we are just providing some criticism so you could get some better customer service, we have nothing to gain from giving you guys one stars after speaking to you only for 5 seconds, you should take the initiative and use your brain for once in a while and say, “hmm, maybe I did hang up”, it doesn’t matter if it’s was on accident now, because you went out of your way to deny it, when we literally asked if you guys fixed MacBooks, why the hell would we have a MacBook and not a iPhone, and just because she has left reviews on other companies doesn’t mean they were false, this is Florida not China, if their is a issue with a service, we need to be able to voice the issue so they can work on it, rather than being rude towards us because of a bad experience we had, and since you took time to do your research, you can see how to properly respond to someone leaving a review, those companies were still leagues above this one, just because they were respectful when responding to the consumer instead of being in denial about a thing that three people in a room heard, while you were on speaker phone, please do better.

Tony was incredible. Fixed all of our network issues and now we’re flying. Easy to work with. So helpful. He remoted into our system on NEW YEARS DAY and we were up and running better than ever the next morning. Can’t recommend them enough!
