I would recommend Uk prepaid Sim Card. Good value, great national coverage, much cheaper and easier than roaming. Excellent customer service if and when needed. No complaints. Will use again

Perfect for a multi country Europe or UK trip!
This is such a great service and provides so much peace of mind. I am very grateful I organised this in advance before our 5 week trip to Europe and UK. I ordered 3 separate 30 day sim cards, was rather pricy, but suited what we needed. We started two on our arrival date, then started the 3rd a bit later so we still had 1 active up until our departure date. Everything went smoothly, if you read the directions thoroughly it really helps. I emailled "UKPrepaidSimCard.com.au" twice with some queries and my questions were answered promptly and explained well.
The only negative issue I encountered was once our plans expired I had no way of removing my details from the ThreeUK registry. I couldn't login to the ThreeUK app either as it requires text message on the number you want to login with. So its best to deactivate the app and contact ThreeUK ahead of time if you want your name and personal details deleted from thier data base.
But otherwise this is a fantastic service! I highly recommend if you are travelling to multiple countries within Europe or UK.

Pre purchase communication ease: ukprepaidsims clearly explains how to contact them and it worked quickly and immediately for me. I was looking to purchase a sim for our upcoming UK holiday. I had some concerns because of some negative feedback but seeing ukprepaid answers of lack of contact from these negative feedback people made me try them on their word. Whatsapp was the answer. I Copied their phone number added them and bingo ukprepaid on 2 occasions at different times amswered within 30 seconds on whatsapp as they promote to do. I now today have ordered 2 esims as they are the best value for money sims at this time and they have proved to me if I do run into problems when I go to activate them soon, they will be there immediately to help. Travelling is stressful without having to worry about phones not working. Thanks for experience to this point.
As you point out, we can't unfortunately help unless a customer reaches out to us for help, and as you've seen our WhatsApp help is there quickly.
eSIMs and SIMs and phones and technology invariably result in some issues from time to time, whether that's a genuine issue with the eSIM/SIM or phone, or it's user error, or it's a combination of both. And that's where our WhatsApp support steps in--to quickly and efficiently resolve the issues.
Well worth it.
I have used the UK prepaid card several times now and everytime it works perfectly. Quickly delivery, great price and more importantly works. Will being ordering a new one soon for my next trip.

Do NOT deal with these scammers!
I bought an eSIM, and a physical SIM card, and neither worked, even after trying multiple times to install using the directions supplied. Arriving in the UK without the avility to navigate or communicate left me stressed and vulnerable. I was finally able to visit a Three phone shop, who installed SIMs far cheaper than the OBSOLETE ones I was sold the scammers.

We’d like to take this opportunity to clarify a few important details:
1. Regarding your Physical SIM Card
Our records show that you did not complete the activation request for your SIM Card. Activation is a quick, one-minute process via an online form. Instructions on how to activate your SIM are clearly provided on the SIM Card packaging and also included in your order confirmation email.
As a result, the SIM Card was never activated — and therefore, it did not function.
Had you contacted our 24/7 WhatsApp, our team would have immediately identified the issue in real-time chat with you and guided you through the activation process, allowing you to use the SIM as intended.
For your convenience, unused physical SIMs remain valid for two years from the date of purchase, and you’re welcome to activate and use it anytime within that period by simply following the activation instructions.
2. Regarding your eSIM
We also found no record of any communication from you via WhatsApp or email until after your return to Australia. If you had contacted us during your trip — even just by connecting to free Wi-Fi at the airport or your accommodation — our WhatsApp Support Team could have provided real-time troubleshooting. In most cases, eSIM setup issues are resolved within minutes.
From your later email to us when you returned to Australia it appears that your device displayed an error message when scanning the eSIM QR code ("Sorry, a required app to use this feature is missing in your device"). This could have been due to several common issues: the phone not being eSIM compatible, out-of-date software, the device being network-locked, or another device-specific setting. These are all issues our WhatsApp Support Team routinely helps customers resolve.
Since the eSIM was not activated, you’re still able to use it at any time within two years of purchase. Just reach out to us when you're ready, and we’ll be happy to assist with the activation.
We’re always here to help before, during, and after your trip, and we genuinely wish you had contacted us at the time, as we could have quickly resolved both matters.

Great card, great service
I have used UK Prepaid SIM Card a number of times over some years & have always found the card to work just as it should. It is very easy to order, set up and use by just following the very clear directions given. I always need to know the UK phone number before I leave home & find this also very simple to achieve. The card is used both in UK & Europe with equal success. It would be good for me if it were possible to have a card with longer than one months' usage, say two months, but that is not something UK Prepaid SIM can change. Whenever I have needed to contact UK Prepaid SIM the response has been very quick & very satisfactory.

I purchased two SIM cards for use by my wife any myself on a recent trip to the UK. It really was as simple as popping the cards in to your phone and off we went with no issues at all. the plan had plenty of minutes, text and data, but as soon as we needed to top up, we found it was a really easy and almost immediate process. Would recommend these guys highly and would be happy to use them again!

One of the issues we've overcome with our SIM Card (versus doing it yourself when you get to the UK), is that if you want until you get to the UK, when it comes time to topup/recharge, you need to have a UK credit card if you want to topup/recharge with the carrier. But with our topup/recharge, you can pay with an Australian credit card (or Paypal). Glad the product worked well for you!
