Heather and her whole team made the birth of my son super relaxing. Everyone was so calm throughout the whole process, even when problems arose, I was certain everything was ok because everyone was so calm. I loved my first birth with them (my 4th baby and 3rd VBAC) and my prenatal care so much that I came back and she helped deliver my 5th baby and 4th VBAC. Again, a problem arose and everyone was so calm. My baby ended needing to transfer care to the NICU and Heather was there throughout the whole process and checking in to see how we were both doing. I always highly recommend Heather and The Tyler Birth House.
An Unforgettable Birth Experience
Our time at the birth center was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we arrived, we felt safe, supported, and truly cared for. The space was calm and welcoming—but it was Heather and her team who made the experience unforgettable.
They were everything I hoped for and more: knowledgeable, kind, attentive, and empowering. They guided me through pregnancy, labor, and birth with such grace and compassion, always making sure I felt heard and respected. I never felt rushed or alone.
What meant the most was how they supported my partner, too. They included him in every step, giving him the confidence and tools to be an amazing support person. We felt like a team because they made space for both of us in the process.
Thanks to Heather and her team, we welcomed our baby in a way that felt peaceful, powerful, and full of love. We’ll forever be grateful for the care they gave our growing family.
I am not a client, but my daughter is. The entire staff is wonderful. Heather, her midwife, Robbin, the lactation nurse, and Courtney , the sonagrapher, have all taken such good care of her. She had a few scares in her early pregnancy, and I asked her if she felt like she needed to go to a conventional OBGYN, and without hesitation, she said, "Absolutely not." I understand now, why. The one on One care she gets, is amazing.

Heather and the other midwife’s were and are, informational, kind, and EXTREMELY DILIGENT! They’re the only ones in Tyler that take Medicaid and they don’t judge about that. They truly love the beauty of birth and I highly recommend them!
My wife became their patient at 25 weeks and we couldn't have made a better decision for her prenatal care. The appoints were always long and very informative. We had a scare and went to the hospital and Heather met us there and stayed for a few hours until she knew that we were ok. The birth went very smooth and was very homie and welcoming. We will be back there for all future babies!
I’m a first time mom & Tyler birth house team made my experience very relaxing & beautiful. The ease at appointments, being able to contact a midwife when you have questions was great. Most times with a doctor you have to wait the next business day not at the Tyler birth house.
Holly was very thorough at the appointments & never judged. She answers ANY questions & gave helpful tips.
Sam was the BEST she’s a great suture 😊. Very patient & explained throughout the entire process of the sutures.
I enjoyed the setting at the suite of the birth house. The dim lighting was perfect they had all the tools available to assist with the birth such as birthing ball, heating pad etc.
Heather actually held my hand through the water birthing process & just her presence was very comforting!! She even gave me bowls of fruit to recuperate.
The aftercare was TOP TIER !! I didn’t have to leave my home the next day. Heather was able to come visit in person to do a checkup!
This team was amazing & I’d recommend them to anyone looking for a NATURAL RELAXING birth. I wish insurance companies would work with them. I prefer this over the hospital any day!
The Tyler Birth House staff is nothing but the best! My second birth was polar opposite from my first, and was a life changing experience. The love and care, attention to detail, and specific plan for me as a specific patient couldn’t have been better done so, thanks to this team. So thankful I found this group!!
I loved my entire experience at Tyler Birth House! From the prenatal appointments (Mercy was my midwife), to birthing there- I was confident that I was in capable hands. The ladies working there respected my boundaries and wishes surrounding birth, tests, checks, etc. and I could count on them to ask for my consent (every single time) before they examined any part of me. The birth of my daughter was magical. I never felt rushed, disrespected, violated or overwhelmed by my midwife or her assistant. The birth center was a safe, peaceful environment… exactly what I prayed for. I plan on returning again for my next pregnancy. Highly, highly recommend!
I had an amazing experience with the Tyler Birth House, my Midwife was Mercy and she was awesome during all of my exams. I loved the hands off approach and when they needed to touch my belly or do any exams I love that they always asked for consent. I felt all of my questions and concerns where always answered and they where good at explaining alot of my questions. When the day of the birth came everything was smooth, they gave me my space like I wanted but deff got to work when my son needed some assisting adjusting to the outside world. Post partum care was great very relaxed at home visits and even after care was complete months later I’ve found my self texting them with questions and Mercy always get back to me right away. I deff have recommended the Tyler birth house to alot of ppl. If it wasn’t because I’m done having kids I would deff go back to have another baby with them lol
My experience with Tyler birthing house was phenomenal!! From beginning until I delivered my son and even after care was phenomenal!! I was actually treated like a person who was pregnant not some factory making a baby. My son got stuck in the birthing canal, they saw he was stuck and called the paramedic who came in 5 minutes of them calling but by then he was breathing! Ms Heather and Ms Mercy had it handled. They got him unstuck and breathing within that 5 minutes. I was calm the whole time and my nurse midwife Sam was awesome at making sure I was ok and making sure nothing was wrong with me. I would absolutely use them again if I became pregnant. I also would highly highly recommend them if you are a person who's pregnant! I wish I could give 20 stars.
Mercy with the Tyler Birth House was fantastic. She was always happy to answer my questions whenever they came up, always had advice and suggestions for any issues I had. Showed concern for my mental as well as physical health and did everything she could to make sure my baby and I were well cared for.
During the birth she and Sam made sure I was as comfortable as possible, and helped me have the safe VBAC I desperately wanted after a horrible hospital experience with my first birth.
I highly recommend them.
