Our experience at Twerys Rare Coins & Jewelry was more than just disappointing — it was shocking and deeply disturbing. The owner, Kevin Alexander Sepe, demonstrated abusive, exploitative, and manipulative behavior that is entirely unacceptable. During negotiations involving my elderly mother’s diamond ring, he took the stone out of its setting without permission, then left it sitting on a table for over 40 minutes while he was on the phone, refusing to return it or acknowledge what he had done.
His actions are not only unethical but resemble those of a back-alley pawnshop, not a licensed, professional asset coin and jewelry store. This is power-play, exploitation, and borderline criminal behavior—completely illegal and deeply disturbing. He takes pleasure in taking advantage of older people, specifically vulnerable seniors, for his own benefit.
Furthermore, I strongly believe that many of the positive reviews are fabricated and fake, designed to mask his true character. His reputation appears to be artificially inflated through dishonest means, with fake reviews that do not reflect his real conduct.
I will be reporting this incident, along with his questionable practices, to relevant industry authorities and professional organizations. His reputation is a façade; his real character is one of dishonesty, manipulation, and exploitation.
Avoid this business at all costs. His conduct is unprofessional, illegal, taking advantage of elders is significantly morally reprehensible !!
