My vocal coach Brian is the best! He has helped me expand my range and projection, which has given me so much more confidence when im singing. I'm starting to unlock a whole new side of my voice I didn't realize existed. I've recently recorded a few songs and also sang at a small event! I feel more prepared and supported when I perform and it'd a huge difference from when I started. Highly recommended if you're looking to be come a better singer

I recorded a voice over/duet to surprise my fiancé for our wedding song and Nick was just amazing. He worked on it even after the studio session, tweaking it how I asked him to, to give me a final product I can’t wait to surprise him with at our wedding. Thank you Nick (and Nolan). I was extremely happy with my experience at True Music Studios. When I called for info I talked to Nolan about my recording needs. He was very informative and also was very pleasant while doing so. He also never sounded rushed. He seemed to care about my situation. He set me up to work with Brian to do some mixing on a song I had recently recorded myself. Brian was fantastic to work with. He was friendly, informative and patient with me and all my recording changes. Plus, he made my finished product sound much better than the original recording I brought in with me. I highly recommend them. And I will be using them again on my future projects.

Nolan and Nick were extremely helpful in setting up and engineering a remote VO session while talent was on location and producers were back in NYC. The recording was great quality and logistics were super smooth. If talent is ever back in Providence, we'll certainly be back with True Music Studios!
Over the course of several years, my three children had the privilege of studying voice, piano, and guitar under the guidance of Kate and Nolan. From the initial phone call looking for information about this company. Nolan was patiently answering all of my questions and has a great sense of humor too. Nick is so knowledgeable as an engineer. After a glowing review from a friend at work, I decided to contact the folks at True Music Studios for singing lessons.
I was in choirs off-and-on from childhood through my college years. After school, a medication changed my vocal cords, and I've struggled for many years to easily produce notes. I also knew I always struggled with proper breath support, so there is an extra layer to my challenges.
My first contact was with Nolan, the owner, explaining my situation, who promptly responded to my inquiry, and set me up for lessons.
I decided on weekly, hour-long sessions & meet with Jeanne. Although we both laughingly acknowledge that I'm a challenge (I'm also a chronic over-thinker), Jeanne employs a variety of stretches, warm-ups, & visualization techniques to try to help me find my way to well-supported, unforced vocalizations. (After a few months of lessons, it's still a work-in-progress, but I definitely feel like I'm getting there).
I am asked to choose songs to work on, and between singing along with recordings of the artists, and her figuring out chords to accompany me in the melody, I am challenged to learn each song, then sing with just the music.
The lessons are paced to meet my needs, and although the journey is challenging, it is at my pace and comfort level. You get out as much as you put in to these sessions, so I try to practice at home between lessons to strengthen my skills, and facilitate my development.
The team at True Music Studios really has your best interests at heart, and truly work with you to meet your goals. They share the joy of your development, and are both encouraging and supportive, finding ways to help you work through your individual challenges, and celebrating your successes.
I can't recommend this studio highly enough. They have other services available - including some instrument instruction, as well as a recording studio. Definitely worth checking out!
The experience at True Music was second to none. Brian was extremely professional and handled the recording session with ease. The entire staff is friendly, professional and very accommodating. The studio is clean, organized and comfortable which creates a stress free environment for artists to do their work. Cant say enough about Nolan’s business, knocking it out of the park, cant wait to be back!
My band had a very pleasant experience with our debut single! Nick handled the mixing and mastering process with time and attention. His return to hear the mixes was an impressive turn around. Evidence of his years of experience and knowledge! When we were seeking a few tweaks he was right back to work. The level of easy communication brought this song to the finish line! Recorded 5 songs there with my band. Smooth sessions, chill environment, receptive to input yet artful mixing skills. Nick was our engineer and e killed it. Also had a good turnaround time & quick edits. 10/10 and we will be back.

Nolan at True Music is a fantastic teacher! He is very knowledgeable, patient, and makes learning enjoyable. My son has been taking guitar music theory lessons for over a year now and each time he comes home he immediately wants to share what he was taught and how he can utilize it when he plays. Nolan integrates theory and improvisation and it truly makes for a remarkable experience to be taught through this process. Thanks for everything you do Nolan!!
This studio is a great place for piano lessons! My instructor was always helpful and open for me to take the lessons in the direction that I wanted. I would definitely recommend!

She is a phenomenal coach, and has a wonderful way of incorporating very helpful breathing and vocal techniques into the lesson that have helped me find my own voice and improve as a vocalist.
