We hired True Blue Roofing for a roofing project, and they did not disappoint. From the initial site visit to the last day there was clear communication. The team members including the owner were extremely professional and the kindest human beings. If you are looking for excellent roofing company hire True Blue!

Good work, difficult business dealings. Our sales rep was clear about the cost of the project and the timeliness, which we agreed to. However, the project was never scheduled as promised and no one would return our calls until we contacted our sales rep after 6 or so weeks. After that contact, we got a call they were coming the next day. The project was completed in the expected time line, but the materials were left behind for weeks, even though we reached out to the work team about it. When they did pick up, they left behind a pile of scrap that we picked up ourselves. The light fixture they took down was not replaced and when I met with the manager of the company, I was told thar was outside of the siding teams scope of practice, even though they took it down. So, the work itself was great. The communication and follow-through were poor.

True Blue replaced the roof and gutters a few years ago, and recently the downspouts started having problems. I contacted True Blue to request an assessment. However, they said a technician would call me back, and then I received no response. This happened 5–6 times before someone finally called me to schedule a site visit — it took about a month just to connect. And every time I called, I had to re-explain the gutter issues, which became really exhausting. After the assessment and site visit, the downspout repair went smoothly, and their work has been great so far. I would still work with them, but only if they improve their response time.

I was very satisfied with True Blue Roofing’s work. I had moss removal and gutter/downspout clearing. Their cleanl-up was wonderful too. I recommend this small business.

The worst siding, roofing, and window company I've ever worked with. They took my deposit in April and proceeded to pass my job to an installer. We didn't have anyone at our house until AUGUST, despite assurances that they were able to start within a month or two. The second the installer raised an issue and asked for True Blue's assistance in resolving it, we stopped hearing from True Blue. Only when we reached out would we get a response and every time we did, they either didn't know who we were or talked to us about someone else's project until we corrected them. I never got in contact with the project planner, Morgan, despite multiple voicemails and requests for callback. The salesman, Paul, reassured us when quoting that they had tons of siding experience which is not true according to the General Manager, RJ Lawrence. This is a roofing company and has NO IN-HOUSE EMPLOYEES that perform siding work. When we finally were able to track RJ down and have him send someone out to our house to perform setup work for the siding installers, his employee wouldn't call us either until we asked RJ where he was 3 times. The photos show how True Blue left my house for weeks without any communication from them. I have small children and there were nails, shards of metal siding, and trash everywhere, not to mention the siding hanging off the house above our cars in the driveway. The black paper you see stapled haphazardly to the removed siding was put up because they cut holes to blow in insulation and left it uncovered. They had NO INTENTION of doing this until I called them and informed them it was going to rain all weekend. The GM had zero idea what kind or amount of work his employees had done on my house. After all this, the siding installer reached out to me directly because he ALSO had not heard from True Blue. He was so upset at the lack of professionalism that he dropped True Blue as a partner. Rather than apologize for the miscommunication, RJ doubled down with both the installer and myself and was incredibly rude and unprofessional in expressing his frustration that he could not continue to lie to me, something he did numerous times on the phone. In the end, I feel True Blue overcharged me for the work they did and even still HAVEN'T RETRUNED THE REMAINDER OF MY DEPOSIT over 45 days after agreeing to. The owner, Michael Dechand is not a professional in any sense of the word. Avoid this company like the plague. They will misquote you, over promise what they can do, not communicate, and leave your home a dangerous hazard.

We appreciate the opportunity to clarify the situation. There are always two sides to every story, and much of what is stated here does not reflect the actual timeline or communication that took place. -This is a false statement-

We stayed in contact with you throughout the project and worked with you regarding the delay caused by the electrical clearance issue, which required approval from the utility company before any siding work could safely continue. Once cleared, we proceeded as scheduled.

At no point did we leave your home abandoned or in a dangerous condition. The photos posted do not accurately represent the sequence or status of the work performed, and several items shown were addressed immediately once they were brought to our attention. We also have documentation of those communications and site visits.

To correct a key misunderstanding: True Blue does have in-house siding crews, and they were involved in your project. The claim that we are “only a roofing company” is simply not accurate.

During the project, you ultimately chose to move forward with a different contractor. Even though work had already begun and materials/labor had been provided, we still agreed to release you from the contract as a goodwill gesture. Part of that agreement included not posting misleading or damaging statements online. Unfortunately, this review was posted anyway.

As for the remaining deposit, you were refunded for the portion of work not completed. Any remaining balance under review reflects materials, labor, and services already provided.

We take pride in the service we provide. There’s a reason True Blue has over 250 Google reviews from homeowners who trust our workmanship and our integrity. Our saying has always been “Without you, there is no us,” and we stand by that. We treat our customers like family and work hard to deliver quality service every time. This review does not reflect the experience we strive for or the way we operate.

We had an old roof. Dan Edmonds came out, inspected the attic areas and gave a detailed quote for replacement. Dan was very professional and took the time to answer all the questions. There was no pressure at all. We accepted the quote a month or so later and the new roof went on without a glitch. Within budget and on time. Looks fantastic! Thanks Dan!

My experience with Makenzie was very unpleasant. She was extremely rude and unprofessional — she pounded on my door and spoke down to me while trying to set up an appointment about my roof. The way she approached me felt aggressive and disrespectful, not to mention her attire, and it made me very uncomfortable. I would not recommend dealing with this company based on this experience.
