I recently completed a gun training course led by Ms. Parker, and it was absolutely excellent from start to finish. As an instructor, she is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and professional. Her ability to explain safety protocols and shooting techniques in a clear, confidence-building way made the entire experience enjoyable and empowering.
What really stood out was her attention to detail and personalized feedback — she made sure everyone, regardless of skill level, felt comfortable and capable. Her emphasis on safety and responsible gun handling was top-notch, and by the end of the session, I felt far more confident and skilled.
She taught me how to manage the strength in my eye sight, the way I look at the target so I wouldn’t shoot more to the left.

Learned a lot about what it actually takes to be a gun owner. What you see on TV about just shooting a gun without any upkeep is complete BS. Owning a gun requires cleaning, being mindful of when jams occur, and regular practice. You also need to be aware of lead exposure (which I hadn’t previously known about) and how it can affect you—and your children, if you have any. Knowing this has made me much more vigilant about minimizing dust and potential exposure, especially before heading to the gym.
Lastly, at the range, my instructor was very supportive and offered great insights on how to improve. Just a fair warning though—depending on your instructor, you may have a smaller selection of guns to shoot. The instructor for the class had more options than mine did, but it was still awesome to see the difference between a compact and a full-size gun.

Definitely would refer this program to veterans. More so to women, as this truly made this experience for me comfortable and I did not want to learn from a man, but this was my preference. Some men are cool, but its just not for me. Also, Haley was a great instructor an although I am not her age, my spirit animal felt her age and played very well. She was knowledgeable and knew her weapon. I also enjoyed that the shooting range knew her very well. Ms. Trouble's class did not have me falling to sleep, rather she engaged and made it a fun experience to learn the material. I also like that she stays current with what's happening around us, and able to rely real life experiences.
