Richard and his team did a fabulous job on my bathroom renovation. From start to finish it was a very positive experience.. Liked the detailed estimate, and very transparent when changes occurred. Trafford GC has a very organized and competent team: office staff, vendors, trades, even a cleaning team at the finish. The schedule was followed and any issues were dealt with quickly. Richard also personally made sure things were completely finished and customer was happy! Would definitely hire Trafford GC for any future renovations.

We are very glad we picked Richard Trafford as the contractor for our extensive ‘down to the studs and joists’ bathroom renovation. Richard himself, his own excellent crew and all the trades involved were informative, clean, punctual, pleasant, and superior craftspeople. The job was carefully planned and progressed as promised under Richard’s watchful eye. With his guidance all the ‘known unknowns’ and surprises encountered were dealt with with a minimum of drama, and Richard explained the various options with great patience and good humour. Communication with Rachel in the office was prompt and efficient, aided by an impressive app portal. Richard and his crew were such nice people that we were actually a bit sad when the job was done. We will certainly hire Trafford General Contracting for our next renovation project, and in the meantime we will enjoy our perfect bathroom.

Trafford General Contracting did an excellent job on our kitchen, powder room, and hallway renovation. The scope of work included demolition, electrical, plumbing, painting, flooring, shoemolding, lighting, mudding, and final cleaning, and every phase was completed with a high level of professionalism and care. All work was completed according to the agreed schedule, which we greatly appreciated. The contractor made frequent visits to the site for quality control, ensuring everything was done correctly and to a high standard. Communication was excellent—questions sent by email were answered promptly and clearly, which made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Trafford renovated our ensuite bathroom which was in its original 1987 configuration and the result is transformational. It was a pleasure working with them throughout with Richard Trafford the owner, Rachel in the office, Kim and Jordan in Richard's team and subcontractors Richard brought in - everybody was positive and hardworking. Any delays were as a result of our decision making speed and sometimes lead times on the items that we chose, otherwise the schedule was maintained. We were given options a lot of the time rather than them just pressing ahead. Every project has its problems, particularly in bathrooms, in our case it was rot and mould found when the old shower stall was demolished, a collapsing bulkhead because of the way that the original builder had done the framing, and a leak in the new rough-in plumbing. The only extra costs to us over the original estimate was to address the first two issues and the plumbing leak and damage were fixed promptly at no cost to us. We would use Trafford again.
